Scope
 The base of this project is to establish a secure and
redundant network of institute.
 Establishing Virtual local area network (VLANs) offer
a method of dividing one physical network into
multiple logical broadcast domains.
 Using VLAN users of specific department can
communicate with each other and can broadcast data
within that specific VLAN.
 Using inter VLANs users of different VLANs will be able to
communicate with each other.

Business Goals
 Using VLANs and Inter VLANs the network within
the organization will become more secure.
 Network will be able to handle a device or link failure
through redundancy.
 Redundancy topology will eliminate a single point of
failure by using multiple links, devices or both. STP
will use for this purpose to prevent loops.
 Using ACL the users will not be able to visit any
irrelevant sites.
