Review basic electronics circuit analysis:
• 1. Ohm’s Law
• 2. KCL
• 3. KVL

Review basic electronic component concepts, symbols and

operations such as:
• 1. Capacitors
• 2. Inductors
• 3. Resistors
• 4. Diodes
Topics to Review for Engineers
On Basic Electronics and Advanced Analog
• 1. Basic Electronics ( Ohms Law, Power formula, KVL, KCL)
• 2. Ideal op-amp circuit
• 3. BJT ( bipolar junction transistor )
• 4. Inductor Equation V = L di/dt
• 5. Capacitor Equation I = C dv/dt
• 6. Simple Circuit Design

On Digital Exam
• 1. Boolean Algebra
• 2. Combinational Circuit Simplification
• 3. TTL Gates Circuit
• 4. Logic Timing/Switching (Propagation delay, Period, Frequency, Transition time)
• 5. RC circuit delay
• 6. Simple logic circuit design (combinational, registers)
For the technical interview, we will be assessing your proficiency
on circuit analysis and understanding of basic electronics
concepts and theories. Please study/review the following topics:
• Basic electronics circuit analysis and design considerations:
Kirchoff’s laws, superposition, nodal analysis, etc.
• Basic electronics components concept and operation:
capacitors, inductors, resistors, op-amps, diodes, transistors,
etc.

Qualifications
Engineer
• BS Degree Graduate (ECE, COE, EE)
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Solid basic electronics foundation
• For applicants with less than five years experience, passing the
examination is a pre-requisite (100 items, passing score is 60pts)

Technician
• Graduate of 2-4yr Technology Course (ECE Tech, COE Tech, EE Tech,
Industrial Tech Major in Electronics or Electrical Technology)
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Solid basic electronics foundation
• For applicants with less than five years experience, passing the
examination is a pre-requisite (100 items, passing score is 60pts)

When is the schedule of exam and interview?
Our office is open everyday. Please visit our company, any day convenient to
you (preferably Monday-Friday), 8:30am. Do not forget to confirm your
schedule by replying to this email.
Note: Please come prepared by reviewing the topics that we shared with you.
Where is your office located?
Maxim Integrated Test Factory is located at Gateway Business Park, General
Trias, Cavite and our Business Center in Located in BGC, Taguig (see page 9).
