TRAINING FACILITIES
Structures provided for learning purposes.
(classroom, workshop, laboratory, library, utilities like water, drainage etc)
9 areas in CBT DELIVERY:
1. Practical Work Area- The area where trainees
acquire the skills and knowledge components
of competencies prescribe by the standard
2. LEARNING RESOURCE AREA
This area provides the trainees with the knowledge requirement in various
modules responding to the competency,. Array of learning materials in
print or soft-copy is found in these area.
3. INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is done n these area. It is also used for
assessing the completion of competency of trainee, before certificate of
achievement can be awarded.
4. CONTEXTUAL LEARNING AREA.
Area where the underpinning knowledge, the science, mathematics, and
communications principles as applied to the technology are provided
5. QUALITY CONTROL AREA
Tests like calibration, metrology are conducted in these area. Finish
products generated from the training are scrutinized if standard are met
6. TRAINERS RESOURCE AREA
Area where the learning materials are housed.( e. g. TR, exemplars, CBC
7. DISTANCE LEARNING AREA
This area enable the learning provision outside and away from the training
institution in term of print and non-print media.
8. COMPUTER LABORATORY AREA
This area has array of computer units where trainees are provided to learn
and gain appropriate I. T. competencies ( Excel, Power Point etc)

Training facility for adult must have flexible and technology advanced
environment that are safe, healthy, comfortable, pleasing and accessible.
