 PENGERTIAN
◉ Etos berasal dari bahasa Yunani “ethos” yang artinya “watak, kepribadian, sikap atau
karakter”. Etos kerja dapat di artikan sebagai sikap dan semangat yang ada pada diri
individu atau kelompok bahkan masyarakat terhadap kerja.
◉ Etos kerja adalah hasil dari suatu keyakinan umat islam, bahwa kerja mempunyai
kaitan dengan tujuan hidupnya yaitu memperoleh ridhonya. Islam adalah agama amal
atau kinerja. Inti ajarannya adalah setiap hamba harus selalu mendekati dan berusaha
memperoleh ridhonya melalui kerja atau amal soleh.
