ABSTRACT
The project we proposed “ALUMNI MANAGEMENT” is an application used in Colleges for keep track of
alumni member details. The above aim can be established by implementing a layout structure modules and
each module can have many sub modules. Admin is responsible for adding, editing and deleting the alumni
members. Alumni meet information's are sent by admin. User is the alumni members. Admin will provide the
username and password to the members. Users can communicate within the other members through this site.
User can login through our site and access the service offered by the admin. Alumni events and the venues are
all allotted by the admin. User gets the information of the meet up to date immediately when the admin post.
EXISTING SYSTEM AND DRAWBACKS
EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system used for Alumni Management keeps records for one college
that includes student details and department details etc. of their alumni member.
This system is a platform dependent the core deployment codes and database is
installed in each system where the management system requires. The data base is
It’s time consuming process and need time to change code for later updating
process.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed system used for alumni management use cloud based technique. This system keep records
of college alumni details that include department details, student details of college. The proposed has
following modules admin, user modules for alumni management. The proposed system is a dynamic,
which means the admin has full control for adding, viewing, deleting and updating of alumni member
information and creating new users and modules. The proposed system has designed with a layout
structure, which contains many modules and each module may have sub modules to achieve the goals.
This system is a platform independent the core deployment codes and database is installed in cloud
server and the project runs on browser like Internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc. which is a platform
independent and no need to install the core deployment codes and database on each system.

globally and can accessed by everyone through their access level and priority.
It provides attractive and user interface for user visiting the sites.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:
RAM : 1 GB
Change password – Admin can change his / her password for periodically for security purpose.
Gallery – Events held in the alumni meet are all viewed in the gallery.
Manage Members – Admin enrolls the alumni member and give the user name and password for them. So that each of
them can open and view the details of meeting and the events held.
Manage Events – Events are all enrolled by the admin. So that in each evng who are all going to take place are all
enrolled.
Manage Gallery – Admin enrolls the gallery and all viewed in the site.
Communicate – Admin can able to view all message and communicate with all members.
Alumni Module
Change password – Alumni can change his / her password for periodically for
security purpose.
Event Management – Alumni member can view the events held in the
meeting. All the members can separately login and view the details and get
information about the alumni meet.
Gallery – Event galleries are all viewed by the user. And also the galleries are
all viewed in the site also.
Post and Chat- Alumni can able to post in userwall and chat with other alumni
members.
