ABSTRACT
The Bookstore management system database effortlessly
integrates all components related to a book store. They mainly
focuses on the activities of a book store such as information on
books and books sold to Customer. The maximum increase in
customer service, access to accurate information make this ideal
for all sizes of book stores.
The book store needs to collect and manage information
about books, publishers, customer personal information. This
system is used for analyzing the store information, customer
information and when necessary to produce reports.
OBJECTIVE
 To provide the best security using the right security policies and
correct technologies.
 To make myself aware of the various dangers that may occur due to
lack of security when we use the website in the entire internet.
 To make myself aware of the online inventory system.
 To learn the latest technologies provided by Microsoft in the form
of.NET.
 To make myself familiar with the professional tools like Visual Studio
2008/2010.NET.
 Microsoft word, Microsoft Power Point, U lead GIF animator 4 etc.
 To author a real life software
SCOPE
The scope of the BOOK SHOP MANAGEMENT
facilitates us in the following jobs:
 Fulfilling Customer orders.

 Maintaining books stocks.

 Maintaining book category details.


PROPOSAL SYSTEM
The proposed system provides lot of facility to the user to
store information of the Books and it provides
information in quick time in a systematic manner. The
processing time on the data is very fast. It provides
required data quickly to the user and also in specified
manner to the user.
All the information of Books changes is given to the
user and also the reports are also generated according
to the requirement of the user. Today it is becoming very
difficult to maintain record manually. this software
system easily does the job of maintaining daily records
as well as the transaction according to the user
requirements.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENT
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: HARDWARE COMPONENTS:
 OS– window 2003 service
,2007 etc.
 Framework –Net 3.5  Processor–intel core 2 duo
 Application - Microsoft visual  Hard Disk – 160GB
studio 2008/2010  RAM- 1GB DDR RAM
 Database – SQL(in built with  Memory – 1GB RAM
visual studio 2008/2010
 Programming language–C#,  Mouse- Microsoft mouse or
ASP . Net
compatible device
ADVANTAGES
 Online bookshop management system is a web based
project so customer can buy their desired book online
without going to bookstore.
 This system is fast and accurate it save both time and
traveling cost of customer.
 User can search their desired book and can get to know even
more book on the same category.
DISADVANTAGES
 This system suitable for only small book shops.
 Online facility is not available.
CONCLUSION
Book shop Management System is an attempt to
overcome the present in efficient and time
consuming process of locating, reserving and
purchasing quality reading materials available in
the Store. This software can be easily
implemented under various situations. Any
education institute can make use of it for
providing information about author, content of the
available books in their library.
