 Further with the call of Make in India given by Honorable PM
of India the manufacturing sector shall be empowered and big
players are going to setup their manufacturing plants in India.
 So there is wide scope of job avenues for Engineers in India.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR GIRLS
 Girls who have done engineering have a greater chance of
recruitment by manufacturing companies because of the conditions
imposed by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund last
year that 50 per cent of the workforce should be women for the
companies to be eligible for IMF funding.

 The Union Public Service Commission too has stated that women
would be given preference in selection for the new Indian
Engineering Service.

 35 % subsidy on loan for ladies under PMRY.


ELIGIBILITY FOR ENGINEERING
• Qualifying Examination: 12th standard or equivalent
examination from a recognized board/university with
PCM
• Entrance Test : Must Secure a valid in MHTCET or
JEE Mains
• Marks Required:
General category- 50% aggregate marks in 12th
SC/ST/OBC – 45% aggregate marks in 12th

• CET form filling is must
