Repair of Vacuum pump SV300B

Background
1. On all UDA furnaces Leybold SV300 pumps are used.
2. Ultimate vacuum reached by pump = 8 E-2 mbar
3. Pump used is in combination with Leybold roots pump.

Criticality

1. High Vacuum levels = 5 E -3 mbar.


2. Risk of Batch scrap due low vacuum levels.
3. Pump was not repaired in-house. Many failed attempts were done.
