INTRODUCTION
• Cisco is the largest networking company in the world.
• Cisco system was founded in December 1984 by Leonard Bosack and Sandy
Lerner, two computer scientist, who pioneered the concept of the Local Area
Network (LAN).
SUBJECT OF CERTIFICATION
• CCNA Routing & Switching
• CCNP Routing & Switching
• CCIE Routing & Switching
CCNA ROUTING & SWITCHING
• This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and
troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network. The topics include
connecting to a WAN; implementing network security; network types; network media;
routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI models; IP addressing; WAN
technologies; operating and configuring IOS devices; extending switched networks with
VLANs; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with access lists; establishing point-to-
point connections; and establishing Frame Relay connections
EXAM CRITERIA'S
• The paper code of CCNA Routing & switching is 200-125 CCNA.
• The candidate have to face 50 to 55 questions in 90 minutes.
• The exam fees of this paper $325, approx 23647 Indian currency including 18% of GST it
will be approx 27900 in Indian currency.
JOB OPPORTUNITY
• Network Engineer:- salary 142k to 691k P.A.
• Network Administrator:- 150k to 715k P.A.
• Senior Network Engineer:-295k to 1.2M P.A.
CCNP ROUTING & SWITCHING
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification
validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area
enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice,
wireless and video solutions.
EXAM CRITERIA'S
• The paper code for CCNP Routing & Switching is-
 300-101 ROUTE
 300-115 SWITCH
 300-135 TSHOOT
• The candidate have to face 50-60 questions in 90 minutes.
• The exam fees will be $900, approx 65484 in Indian currency + 18% GST.
JOB OPPORTUNITY
• Network Consultant:- salary 2.2M P.A.
• Senior Network Engineer:- 1.4M P.A.
CCIE ROUTING &SWITCHING
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE Routing and Switching)
certifies the skills required of expert-level network engineers to plan, operate and
troubleshoot complex, converged network infrastructure.
EXAM CRITERIA'S
• The paper code of this exam is 400-101 CCIE .
• The candidate have to face 90-110 questions in 120 minutes.
• The exam fees is-
 $315, approx 22900 in Indian currency for written exam.
 $1400, approx 101,864 in Indian currency for Lab.
 Plus 18% GST.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES
• Network Specialist or Network Expert:- Salary 2 to 8 lakhs/month.
