Integrity is more than


The quality of being honest, Integrity is about doing the
just being honest; it's
truthful and having strong right thing even when it’s not
acting ethically,
moral principles. acknowledged by others, or
consistently, and in a
convenient for you
trustworthy manner.

Having the understanding and knowledge of teacher integrity, we are fully


aware of what are expected from us as a teacher. To be a teacher with
integrity we have to do the following:
1. Keep pupils’ information confidential

• Pupils’ personal information such as family background,


socioeconomic status, academic report and etc.
• Teacher will always treat the information confidentially without
exposing it to other people for personal gains.

2. Dedicated in teaching profession.

• A teacher should always give his best in educating all of his pupils
at all time.
• Teacher should also put his pupils’ needs as his top priority.
3. Be Honest At All Time.
• Teacher should not fabricate any data regarding the pupils and schools
for their own good.
• Examples: Pupils’ examination result, pupils’ LINUS Score.

4. Be a good role model to pupils.


• A teacher should always portray good behaviours and attitudes at
all time inside and outside of the classroom.
• Examples: come early to school, dress properly and neatly, talk
politely and etc.
5. Integrate integrity in the classroom.
• Does not compromise cheating.
• Be responsible.
• Inculcate moral values in hidden curriculum.
• Being just/fair to all pupils and consistent in applying classroom rules.
