Chapter 2: Discrete-State Process Control
Definition of Discrete-State Process Control Characteristic of the System Relay Controller and Ladder Diagram Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) www.tri-plc.com/trilogi.htm Chapter 3: Controller Principles Introduction to open loop, closed loop control systems. Discontinuous controller modes: Two position mode, multi- position mode. Continuous controller modes: Proportional, Integral & derivative control modes. Introduction to composite control mode: PI, PD & PID controller. Chapter 4: Instrumentation: Analog Signal Conditioning Filtering and impedance matching, concept of loading. Passive circuits: divider circuits, bridge circuits and their applications in instrumentation. Basic concept of frequency response.
