2 Ideas Development
Idea 1
The first idea that we had as a group, was that we would film and
time lapse a sunrise.
The theme of our first idea is sun and the sunrise and sunset, but
also have some iconic locations and buildings from London shown
before the sunrise. This links to the existing bbc idents, as they all
include some form of natural footage in.
Our concept will be that the sunrise will form a place for the logo
to be shown at the end of the ident. There isnt a narrative but
more just a shoot of buildings that are iconic and a sunrise.
It will be set in London, as then we can show some of the iconic
buildings in London before the sunrise.
There will be high key lighting, as the sunrise will need that to look
good and show in the footage. However it will be all natural light.
There will be some typography on the logo that we have created,
as there is sans seriff which is bold on the logo saying bbc1.
Idea 2
The second idea we had as a group was using the wheels on vehicles.
The theme of our second ident idea will be vehicles and wheels. This
links to existing bbc idents as there are some car shows shown on
bbc1, and one of the idents in the past was based on bikes.
Our narrative will just be that we are showing a variety of vehicles
and showing their wheels to link to the circle theme of the bbc1
channel. There wont be any exact characters, but there may be
people on\in the vehicles that we film.
The setting will be in lots of different places, as we will film the
vehicles in different locations.
The lighting will be low key in the background, but high key on the
object being shown so that it stands out from the background.
There will be typography on the logo that we created which we will
bring in at the end of the ident. The typography is going to be sans
seriff and bold.
Idea 3
The third idea we had as a group, was to find a variety of things with
circle shapes that range from a close up shot of an eye to a
roundabout in a playground.
The theme of this ident would be circles, which links to existing bbc1
idents and the corporate identity of the channel having circles in.
There wont be a narrative in this ident, just the concept of circles
and then cut them together to make them look appealing to watch.
There wont be any characters, apart from the one persons eye that
we decide to use in a close up shot.
This ident will use a range of settings, as we will film each circular
object in a different place.
All the lighting that we use will be natural lighting.
There will be typography on the bbc1 logo that we made and will
show at the end of the ident. That will be sans seriff and bold.
