RTN320 Installation Instruction


Reserve at least 30 cm space on the side of the RTN 320 so that the maintenance compartment can be
opened.
The RTN 320 can be installed on either side of a hybrid coupler or OMT. You can install the RTN 320
on the right or left side based on installation space requirement.
For STC project regulation , we will install RTN320 on the vertical side.

RTN320 Typical configuration


XPIC Site 2+0
An XPIC site is a special 2+0 site.
A dual-polarized antenna is required at an XPIC site.
If an antenna with a diameter less than or equal to
1.8 m is used, one RTN320 and one ODU are
installed on the same orthogonal mode transducer
(OMT).
The ODU is connected with RTN320 by IF cable.
The following figure uses direct mounting as an
example to illustrate the typical configurations of an
XPIC site.

By default, the protocol type is NoTagL2DCN


as NMS usage , if we use this port for
service , we have to change thet Protocol
type to IP from DCN management

Note: after changing of the configuration, we


can only connect to the NMS port on the
left side for commission

Connecting the Web LCT to the Equipment by WIFI


(Effective within around15 meters only)
RTN320 supports to connect through wifi if wifi module delivered
1.Use the Wi-Fi Connection tool delivered with the Web
LCT to set up a Wi-Fi connection between the laptop and
NE.
a.Access the Wi-Fi Connection tool directory (such as

WebLCT\weblct\tools\wificonn) and run


WifiConnection.exe.
b.Select the SSID of the NE to set up a Wi-Fi
connection.
The default SSID is FMn-The last six digits of a MAC
address in hexadecimal format-NE ID.
Default password: Modify_123.

2.After the Wi-Fi connection is set up successfully,


double-click the Start Web LCT icon on the desktop.
The system displays the USER LOGIN window of the
Web LCT.
3.Set User Name, Password, and Verification Code,
and click Login.
User Name: admin
Password: Changeme_123 (will be prompted to be
change in first login)

Creating NEs Using the Search Method


1. Search for NEs using the Search by user port method if the NEs are connected directly to the Web LCT
using Wi-Fi.
