Elevator

This project aims to design an efficient small-scale elevator system with 3 floors and 1 elevator that can accept user input and operate mechanically using pulleys and a DC motor. The main components are a microcontroller, H-bridge, seven segment display, keypad, and mechanical structure. Challenges included designing the development board, H-bridge, mechanical structures, and printed circuit boards. Future work involves making the system function more like a real-time elevator.

The { of our project is to design an efficient

elevator that can accept input from a user and
mechanically operate (on a small scale) a system of 3
floors and 1 elevator using pulleys and simple DC
motor.

aur elevator shafts are uilt from wooden pieces. ue chose this
material ecause it offered no flexi ility in design, ease of construction,
and were availa le for free. ue added dowels to align the elevator cars
within the shafts. The elevators are raised and lowered with twine
using a pulley system. The other end of the twine was attached
motor. The motors were nailed to piece of wood.
