Common NodeB Application Part (CNBAP)

Common NBAP (C-NBAP) controls the overall functionality of Node B and handles common procedures like managing logical operations and maintenance functions, controlling broadcast channels, and creating new Node B communication contexts. NBAP, which includes both C-NBAP and Dedicated NBAP, forms part of the Iub interface and is the signaling protocol responsible for controlling Node B by the radio network controller.
