Ramp :Regional Area/Aircraft for maintenance and Parking .
Load Processing: In Simple ,load is something that causes stress on a body that
carries it . Any thing that has weight will cause stress on the body over which it
placed .Ic in context of an A/c ,Any item placed any where on the A/c becomes load
for the A/c.

Always carry ADP.
Ensure valid Vehicle permit and puc(pollution under control)
Ensure to display PIC and vehicle permit
Ensure company logo on the vehicle
Be familiar with apron lay out and service roads.
Use vehicular lanes as far as possible were ever provided
Maintain speed limit 15kmpr
Keep left
Give way to aircraft all the time
Give way to Embarking and disembarking passengers on the
apron
Give way to Emergency Vehicles (follow me ,Ambulance ,Fire
attainders ,Security )
At Night Use Bacon lights.

Must not do
Enter the apron with tabards
Do not over speed at any situation
Must not cross the taxi @ the time aircraft movement
Must not drive on Runways at any situation
Do Not over take at any situation
Do not approach the aircraft while the engine is on or Anti
collision light is on
Use Earplugs while working on the ramp
Parking of vehicles to be done only at the parking places
Must always be at distance from Jet Blast marking
Inspection before loading a pallet
Check for serviceability of the Uld
Check the cargo weather it has all legal documents
Check the lashing foe diamond cuts
Use polythine sheet before loading cargo
Always load heavy piece at the bottom
Use spreaders ?
Use inter locking method if garments are loaded
Handle cargo carefully
Dg should be loaded according to the procedure always keep NOTOC while
handling or loading Dg shpt
Live animal loading should be loaded separately with at most care
LOH should be handed over to the crew only and a advance notification to
be sent to the destination
Perishable should not be sent to ramp with general cargo send perishable
30 min before departure of the aircraft.(depends upon the distance of the
warehouse and the aircraft)
Perishable should be loaded at the door in the aircraft.
Ramp staff duty
Arrive to the bay 30min prior to the arrival of the
Aircraft.
FOD check
Check for all the equipments are positioned
Check with AOCC or Airline for any special
handling.
Check for the catering
Check all the staff are in full safety standard
Check for chocks ,fire bottle expiry date and
marshaller .
