First of all, We would say thanks to Almighty Allah who has given us the strength to complete the project. The Project is on Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL). We would like to thanks MAM.AMNA HALEEM who gave us this project. We have learned so much from this project and had a better experience.
PTCL is the largest telecommunication. PTCL continues to be largest CDMA operator. Company maintains leading position in Pakistan. It has potential to be instrumental in Pakistans economic growth. PTCL has laidan optical fiber access network. On the long distance and international infrastructure side, the capacity of submarine cable is expanded.
In 1947, Posts & Telegraph Dept. were established. In 1962, Pakistan Telegraph & Telephone Dept. In 1995, 5 % of PTCL assets transferred to PTA,FAB & NTC. In 1996, PTCL Formed & listed on all Stock Exchanges of Pakistan. In 1998, Mobile & Internet subsidiaries established. In 2000, Telecom Policy Finalized. In 2003, Telecom Deregulation Policy Announced. In 2006, Etisalat Takes Over PTCL's management.
Company maintains a leading position in PAKISTAN. Future is unfolding around PTCL. In future, PTCL will be the link that allows global communication. PTCL is striving towards mobilizing the world. Company is ready to shape a future that offers telecom services that bring closer.

Pay Phones:
PTCL has the largest payphone network in Pakistan, and almost every independent payphone company somehow touches the PTCL network. If you are creative we will support you in launching your idea and making it profitable.
PTCL offers its telehousing and data centres for hosting customs services. We have international and domestic capacity anywhere from 64K to full lambda wherever we have our fiber network. DSL & Broadband services are available for independent private label services. If you can create your own niche business, our network is made available.

PTCL communicate to its customer through many ways and tries to adopt each and every aspects of communication to their customer and target market. The network through out the country is very vast. The distribution strategy and channel which PTCL is following is quite improved nowadays. Initially it is very typical to distribute everywhere but slowly as network grew. The Distribution network also approaches to each and every division of country either urban or rural areas. Nowadays the distribution channel for BROAD-BAND Pakistan. Is through exchange and services centers through out the country.

The positioning statement Hello to the Future is basically provides the inward communication through the word Hello, i.e. PTCL welcomes its customers and the future. Also it offers the outward communication through the word Future by promising customers the futuristic ideas and products.

Design the Product & Process. Starting from Posts & Telegraph(1947) to telephone and telegraph under PTC in 1991. After privatization in 1995 PTCL launched, Ufone Mobile & Internet (Paknet) data service subsidiaries established. None of the brands made it to the top slots in the respective competitions. Recent DSL services launched by PTCL reflect this by introduction of a new brand name and operations of the service being directly supervised.
Beautiful Logo Appeared in March 2006 after Privatization to sold out 26% share to Dubai based company Etisalat.And they changed their website to designed as per Etisalats Site. Regarding PTCL Broadband DSL connection offer extremely good service to 256kb/min with 30 to 40 GB per month.

We conducted the survey questionnaire through which we can sort these analyses 70 % of the customers got the good service, 20% of the customers think that they got the excellent, 10 % of the customer realize that the service is just OK and no one thought about the bad service.
PTCL is at the maturity stage now. They are following the cost leadership & differentiation strategies. They are providing the services to their customer by lowering the prices and they are the only ones who are providing the services to such a big extent.
