INTRODUCTION
In
deep fading conditions, in order to improve the capacity of the channel, it is necessary to use multiple antennas at the transmitting and at the receiving end.
The
main motivation for using OFDM in a MIMO channel is the fact that OFDM modulation turns a frequency-selective channel into a set of parallel-flat frequency MIMO channels.
Equalization
techniques which can combat and/or exploit the frequency selectivity of the wireless channel are of enormous importance in the design of high data rate wireless systems.

MR
hij is a Complex Gaussian random variable that models fading gain between the ith transmit and jth receive antenna 3
OFDM signal is transmitted through a number of antennas in order to achieve diversity or cap any gain (higher transmission rate)

ZERO FORCING
The basic idea of zero forcing algorithm is get rid of MIMO-channel interference by multiplying received signal and the inverse matrix of channel matrix. Zero-Forcing solution of MIMO-OFDM system is as follows:
MMSE
The Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) approach tries to find a coefficient W,
When comparing to the equation in Zero Forcing equalizer , apart from the term both the equations are comparable. In fact, when the noise term is zero, the MMSE equalizer reduces to Zero Forcing equalizer.
