We support PC Anywhere, VNC, Dame Ware, HP iLo and Remote Insight Board. Any of
these can be used to run the reports.

Hi Pamela,
Though you can run Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (RDP) or Microsoft Terminal
Services Client as the remote control solution, the report results will be inaccurate. Hence
EMC does not recommend the use of Remote Desktop Client (RDP) and Terminal Services
to run the reports.

Thank you for your clarification.
I do understand your requirement and I did research on this further. I don't mean to
disappoint you but I am afraid the procedure remains the same. In any given scenario with
multiple files and multiple eRooms the only way to determine that permit access to
MyGroup is as mentioned before - (It can be done in two ways either getting into the
specific folder, right click select access control or changing it to the view details and check

the boxes for which access control needs to be changed, pick access control option from the
command bar and change the permissions).
Please find attached the Change_viewdetails.JPG file which explains about the issue in
detail.
With your permission can I go ahead and close the issue.

However I have a few concerns about the reports. Instead of an eTrace I have received an
eroomerror.log and the eRchecker is not in full. Therefore I am mentioning the instructions
here once again.
I would request you to please run an eRchecker by checking all the options with "Do not
fix read-only mode" and an eTrace with the following settings:

MSDTC and hence unable to establish a successful connection with MS SQL server. As
