Tg was determined by the peak in loss modulus from 5C/min. ramp rate. Conditioned in 71C deionized water for 48 hours.
TEST FORMULATION
Epon 828 Epoxy Resin (*) Epon 836 Epoxy Resin (*) DuoMod DP5045 Triphenyl Phosphine Dicyandiamine Diuron
Test Formulation Mixing Procedure Add DuoMod DP5045 slowly to the Epon 836 resin while mixing. Add Triphenyl Phosphine and heat at 145C for 30 minutes. Cool to 90C. Blend dicyandiamine and diuron into the Epon 828 epoxy resin, then add to the DuoMod / epoxy resin adduct while mixing. Once all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, immediately cool the mixture to room temperature. If the resin will not be used within 24 hours, store in a freezer. Allow frozen resin to equilibrate to room temperature before use.
