In the IB learner profile an IB learner is defined as a student who strives to be an inquirer, knowledgeable, thinker, communicator, principled,
open-minded, caring, risk-taker, balanced and reflective.


"The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a continuum of international education. The
programs encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in
their studies and in their personal development. In order to teach IB programs, schools must be
authorized. Every school authorized to offer IB programs is known as an IB World School."

IB Diploma
The International Baccalaureate Diploma program is a challenging, externally assessed and moderated, two-year course of study for
students in grades 11 and 12. Academically comprehensive and globally recognized, the IB Diploma program prepares students for
entry to university systems all over the world. It is a philosophically coherent program of studies that seeks to develop in students not
only a respect for intellectual rigor in the arts and sciences but also an appreciation of internationalism, global awareness, and social
service.

To obtain the IB Diploma, students must satisfy the curricular requirements of six IB subjects taken concurrently in the last two years
of high school.
