INTRODUCTION
The rapid advancement in drone technology has opened up new possibilities for innovation
across various domains. As students of Electronics and Communication Engineering, we have
undertaken the development of a *Multispeciality Drone* that integrates multiple functionalities
into a single aerial platform, combining our knowledge of embedded systems, communication
protocols, sensor interfacing, and real-time data processing.
This project focuses on designing a drone capable of performing diverse tasks such as aerial
surveillance, environmental monitoring, wireless communication relay, thermal imaging, and
emergency delivery services. By incorporating advanced sensors, GPS, wireless transmission
modules, and microcontroller-based control systems, the drone is engineered to respond
intelligently to various operational scenarios.
The aim is to create a versatile and scalable UAV solution that can be applied in fields like disaster
management, smart agriculture, public safety, and remote area communication. Through this
project, we demonstrate the practical applications of core ECE concepts in a real-world,
interdisciplinary project, emphasizing innovation, automation, and smart communication
systems.

Literature Review
The integration of electronics and communication technologies in UAVs has significantly
enhanced the functionality and efficiency of modern drones. Several studies and research
projects have explored the applications of drones in various sectors, laying the groundwork for
the development of multispeciality drone systems.
*1. Surveillance and Monitoring:*
Research by Singh et al. (2019) highlighted the use of drones equipped with high-resolution
cameras and wireless transmission modules for real-time surveillance. The study emphasized the
importance of low-latency communication systems and efficient image processing algorithms to
improve surveillance accuracy.
*2. Environmental Sensing and Data Acquisition:*
A study conducted by Kumar and Rao (2020) focused on deploying sensor-integrated drones for
air quality and temperature monitoring. The implementation of IoT-based environmental sensors
and their wireless transmission to a remote server demonstrated the role of ECE in
environmental applications.
*3. Communication Relay Systems:*
Drones have been researched as temporary communication relays in disaster-struck or remote
areas. Patel et al. (2021) proposed a drone-based mobile communication system that utilizes RF
and LTE modules to re-establish communication networks, particularly in areas with damaged
infrastructure.
*4. Object Detection and Tracking:*
Recent advancements in embedded vision and AI have enabled drones to perform tasks like
object detection and facial recognition. Studies using Raspberry Pi and OpenCV libraries have
demonstrated real-time object tracking capabilities, emphasizing the synergy between embedded
systems and communication protocols.
*5. Multipurpose UAVs:*
A review paper by Sharma et al. (2022) discussed the development of multipurpose drones
combining delivery, surveillance, and sensing tasks. It highlighted the challenges in power
management, payload optimization, and real-time data communication that ECE engineers must
address.
*6. Wireless Communication and Telemetry:*
Several research efforts have focused on improving telemetry systems using LoRa, Zigbee, and 4G
modules. These studies demonstrate the critical role of reliable, long-range communication in
ensuring effective drone operation and data transmission.
*Summary:*
The literature reveals a strong foundation for implementing a multispeciality drone by leveraging
core ECE domains such as embedded systems, sensor networks, wireless communication, and
real-time data processing. However, the challenge remains in integrating these multiple functions
seamlessly while maintaining stability, efficiency, and reliability in real-time operations.

Construction:
How the drone is made ..??
What all parts needed to make a drone..??
So let's see them one by one....
1- Advanced attitude stabilize Algorithm
2- GPS Module Available/
Accurate Position hold
3- Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)
4- Failsafe mode
5- Low voltage protection
6- Supported multi-rotor types
7- Built-in Gimbal stabilization function
8- Remote adjustment

1-Positioning and Navigation
2-Dynamic Position Hold
3- Geofencing
4- Waypoint Navigation
5- Return-to-Home (RTH):
6-Precision Agriculture
7-Autonomous Missions
3r Transmitter and receiver
Here we are using flysky i6 radio transmitter and receiver
The range is up to 2 km in open area.
With a 6 channel radio receiver
4th :- Battery
Here we are using lipo battery.
The voltage at which the battery is operated is from 12.6 to 10.6 volts
Battery plays an important role in the enhancement of the fly time
The better the quality of the battery the better the fly time
* . . ’
“ ”" ” "" - ,: " --‘' ” “
Sth :- ESC(electronic speed controller
Here we are using 30 A belheli esc
The speed of the motors is controlled by esc
The esc helps us to maintain stability
Better the esc better the stability
6th :- motors
As our drone is Quadcopter,
here we are using 4 motors
These motors work on 920kv
These motors have trust upto 500grams
Lower the kV rating higher the thrust rating
Re a d ytO **
7th :- servos
Servos are the special types of motors that are arranged in the gearing ratio to perform several task
Here we are using both 180° and 360° servo
Design of the drone[ the frame ]:
Design of the frame has to be in a aerodynamic shape to maintain stability and performance
There are several aspects in the designing of the frame
First to choose the strong and low in weight material
Then to decide the placements of the components of the drone on the frame
soo let's the design...
ESC ESC
GPS
(opt.)
Flight Controller
(FC Brains!)
ESC
Receiver ESC
TX
Advantages of drone:
1:-our drone will low cost
2:- can perform various task in by changing the attachments
3:- programmed precisely to gain more stability
4:- will save time , manpower
5:- strong build quality
6:- excellent quality electronics
Disadvantages of the drone:
1:- need more battery source, bcoz 1 battery could last onIy for 30 min
2:- range is onIy 1km so cannot service more than that
3:- malfunction can cause if there are n number of network bands in the areas
4:- high repair cost
What is the progress in the project till now..??
We started the project build by waiting 1hr in the clg every day after lectures
So , we have done with the research and analysis of all the components, such as frame , motors , esc , fligt t
controller, etc
Then we started searching the electronic products in local market , online eCommerce stores
Then we worked on the programming of the flight controller and other electronics
And we spend 5 to 6 hr on design and the finalized one perfect design
XViÎ
What further work is remaining..??
1:- we have to construct the frame
2:- place the different electronics on the frame
3:- work on landing gear
4:- work on down attachments that five types of attachments
5:-after build is completed we have to perform several test flights to ensure the working of all component›
of the drone is precise
If there is problem in stability again reprogram the flight controller and again test the results
By this , we end our mini project report in guidence of prof :-Ms.Rohini Ghodake
