This position is for a highly motivated individual to work as part of a


Job Summary
research and development team to design and develop firmware and
Linux applications for Power Instruments products. The candidate should
have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in
a team effectively. This position requires support for new products as well
as legacy products
Required Skills  Programming embedded systems in C and C++
 Familiarity with SoC and ARM based processors
 Designing and implementing firmware for peripherals such as ADCs,
clocks, timers, FPGA interface, RAM, flash, communication
interfaces, etc.
 Experience with embedded development tools, debuggers, protocol
analysers, etc
 Ability to use basic test equipment like, Oscilloscope, DMM, Logic
analyser etc.
 Experience working with either RTOS or Embedded Linux systems.
 Ability to read schematics.
 Ability to debug HW by probing signals.
 Exposure to build system such as, build root, Yocto etc…
 Ability to handle/understand hardware setup, wiring connections.

 IPC mechanisms, shared memory, queues in Linux.


Desired Skills
 Experience with creating TCP/IP network application programs.
 Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB or equivalent for
filter design and analysis.
 Understanding memory leaks, memory allocation in embedded
systems (program flash, RAM, non-volatile storage, file systems),
Linker files for memory allocations.

Experience Level 8+ years of Industrial experience

Educational BE or MTech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or


Qualification Computer Science Engineering.
