Q. 1 Solve Any Two of the following. 12
A) State Kirchhoff’s laws and Determine the current through the 5 Ω resistor CO1 6
of the network shown

B) State superposition theorem and find the current passing through the 3 Ω CO1 6
resistor in the circuit using superposition theorem.

C) The graph of a network is shown in Fig. Write the (a) incidence matrix, CO1 6
(b) tieset matrix, and (c) f-cutset matrix.

A) What are initial conditions? Explain the initial conditions for Resistor, CO1, CO3 6
capacitor and inductor
B) In the given network of Fig., the switch is closed at t = 0. With zero CO1, CO3 6
current in the inductor, find i, di/dt and d2 i/ dt2 at t = 0+ .
C) In the network of Fig. shown, the switch is closed at t 0+. Obtain the CO1, CO3 6
expression for current i (t ) (use time domain approach)
