and effective typewriting. They are important to attain and maintain accuracy
and speed.
The factors included are:

● Monitor placement
● Mouse and keyboard placement
● Chair and table placement
● Placement of matter to be typed
Why the use of various typing software is common now-a-days?
Ans. Typing softwares help us to improve the following things that is why they
are common now-a-days.
● Speed - Typing software help us to easily reach typing speeds above 75-80
words per minute, while a non-trained individual is around 10. This is increased
by the fact that a touch typist doesn’t have to look at the keyboard.
● Accuracy - It help to type accurately. Which increase confidence in document
production as we will know what we are writing is spelt correctly and
grammatically accurate.
● Time - By increasing the typing speed, typing software help us to save around
20 – 35% of our time used on a computer.
Decrease Fatigue - Typing software help us to reduce mental and physical fatigue
as typing is both psychologically and physically exhausting when done for long
periods of time. Mentally, it keeps us from having to focus on two things at
once. Physically,
it keeps us from constantly having to bend our head over the keyboard to find
our next couple of keystrokes.
● Health - Typing software is better for our health. We are not hunched over
looking at the keys, and using all of our fingers actually reduces the risk for
repetitive stress injuries (RSI).
● Productivity - By using typing software productivity is increased as well as
confidence. Time is nearly halved and errors will become near enough non-
existent.
