ROBBIE

At the beginning of the story, Robbie and Gloria play happily at hide and seek as if Robbie were not a robot but
a child. But Gloria is a bit tricky and domineering, how does Robbie let himself be beaten at hide and seek? And how does he
"Does Gloria pay? How does she then pressure the girl into convincing her little friend to go for a ride?"

2. Mrs. Weston does not like Robbie, and she tells her husband. What reasons does she have for disliking the robot? What
What reasons does Mr. Weston give his wife to lose all fear?

3. Gloria is left alone and without comfort, and she nearly falls ill. To cheer her up, her parents plan a trip to
New York, and Gloria's mood changes. Does she think it is due to the pleasure of the trip?

4. During the visit to the Science Museum, Gloria questions the talking robot about the whereabouts of Robbie and the mother.
She discovers, in desperation, that her daughter is still obsessed with her robot friend. What does Mr. Weston plan then?
Who do they find in the factory and why was he there? How does the story end?
SALLY

1. Raymond Gellhorn arrives one fine day at the automatic car farm of Jacob Folkers, who explains to him
reader how and why that institution was founded. What was Folkers dedicated to before directing the farm? What
What advantages did automatic cars have over manual ones?

2. Folkers is forced to get on the bus and gets an unpleasant surprise. What has Gellhorn done to him?
the automated bus? What happens when the automated bus starts?

One of the most original and appealing features of this story is that the self-driving cars are treated as
people. From the beginning we are told that cars have 'personalities', that convertibles are
feminine and the sedans are masculine. How does Jeremías behave? What does Jacob say about the
automatic? What is the final reaction of the automobus due to?

In 'Robbie' we are told that robots make robots and that people end up losing their jobs because of it.
At the end of 'Sally', what is hinted that automatic cars can do? Do you think something like that could happen, or
Is it just a simple fantasy?
