Our HSRF Team is grateful Teja Township Management,

on 22nd Oct. 2015, we started our branch at New LIC
Colony, Teja Township, Peda Palakaluru, Guntur. Dr.
Hanumaiah who was trained in our Forum in Bangalore for
5 years is successfully treating patients and achieving very
good results. People from many villages up to the range of
100 kms are availing the service.
We started one more branch at Veeravalli, native village
of Sri P V Satyanarayana on 26 Aug. 2018 and shifted to
Swarna Bharath Trust Campus, at Atkuru in April 2024.
Now we have excellent facilities.

ABOUT THIS BOOK

This book is a small gift from our Forum and provided free of cost to
all those people who want to take care of day-to-day simple health
problems of their family members. If they keep about 20 Homoeo
remedies at home and use as Home Remedies, 50 to 60% of their
medical visits can be eliminated. Over a period of time their health will
be much better as they develop lot of positive energy and good
resistance to diseases. They can be self-reliant in health care. The
information in this book is collection from authentic Homoeo books
coupled with our own rich experience. Anybody can use these Homoeo
remedies with confidence. They have to use after properly observing
the symptoms and modalities of suffering (how patient’s suffering

HOMOEOPATHIC SELF RELIANCE FORUM
Now-a-days Medical Care has become quite costly and out
of reach for common man. Homoeopathy is an excellent
medical system, which is safe, easy to adopt,
economical, holistic and cures diseases permanently
without side effects. The system is based on Nature’s
Principles (prakrithi dharmas) founded by a genius, Dr.
Samuel Hahnemann, MD. Champion of self-reliance and
Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi said
“Homoeopathy is the latest and refined method of
treating patients economically and non-violently.
Government must encourage and patronise it in our
country”.
With an aim to help the needy and suffering humanity and to
bring an awareness about health care among the general
public Homoeopathic Self Reliance Forum, a Voluntary
Service Organisation was established at DRDO Township on
27th April 1987 by a group of likeminded people under the
leadership of Sri P.V. Sathyanarayana, who was already

practicing homoeopathy for 10 years as a free service to the
suffering humanity.
The Forum has successfully rendered 38 years of
dedicated service to the suffering humanity. In these 38
years, Forum has not been closed even a single working day
and worked on all the scheduled working days. Many
beneficiaries got cured of their complicated, incurable, long
standing as well as short term health problems. Many
mentally and physically under developed children
became normal children after long term treatment. Many
heart patients, for whom by-pass surgery was
recommended, got cured of their diseases. Many non-
insulin depending diabetics became non-diabetic. Many
childless couples became proud parents of healthy and
intellectual children. Many young women who were not
getting married because of facial pimples and obesity got
married after the treatment. Many persons got cured of
their inferiority complex or mental depression. Many
students and youngsters were helped to get cured of their
fear of examinations and interviews.
The Forum has helped scientists and technologists not
only from DRDO, but also from ISRO, NAL, IISc, HAL,
BEML, BHEL, BEL, ITI and many Software Companies,
who are involved in Science & Technology areas, to get
cure for their stress and related health problems.
The beneficiaries are not only from DRDO Township, but
also from in and around Bangalore, far off places of
Karnataka, other states of our country and from foreign
countries. Forum helped many families to manage in a
better way terminal cases or ailing old people in the house
without much hospitalisation and by keeping few Homoeo
medicines in the house. Before their death many old people
and persons of terminal diseases expressed their blessings
and gratitude to the Forum for relieving their suffering and
giving more comfort. We the members of Forum get lot of
satisfaction and feel that we are doing something good to
our society.

Following the footsteps of our Guruji Dr. GV Chalapathi,
with an aim to continue his noble program of bringing
awareness among common people about the importance of
lifestyle to maintain good health and efficacy of
Homoeopathy to cure diseases, the Forum has organised
number of free Homoeopathic awareness programs of 2 or 3
days duration at various places. Each program has been
attended by more than 100 people. Under the leadership of
Dr GV Chalapathi more than 150 such Awareness Programs
were conducted in AP, Goa and Karnataka.
So far, the Forum has organised more than 100 one day
Free Homoeopathic Seminars for the benefit of practicing
Homoeopaths and homoeopathic students to exchange and
enhance their knowledge. More than 100 homoeopaths
(even from other states) used to attend. The Forum is
providing excellent practical training freely to the Fresh
Homoeopathic physicians, who passed BHMS or MD. They
have been taught Classical Homoeopathic Method (higher
level of Homoeopathy) practiced at the Forum to cure the
diseases. They are performing well in their practice after
the training. The Forum is regularly conducting One year
Free Homoeopathic Course on Classical Homoeopathy
and providing practical training. Sree P V Satyanarayana,
qualified and trained Homoeopathic physicians and well
experienced Homoepaths are the Teaching Faculty for this
course. Our Homoeo Course classes videos are available in
YouTube.
The Forum had created a sense of security among the
general public, whenever there was a panic due to outbreak
of epidemic diseases viz., Brain Fever, Plague, Chikungunya,
Dengue, Swine flu, Chicken-pox, Measles, Gastro-entritis,
Flu etc., by distributing preventive medicines freely to lakhs
of people across the country through service minded
organisations working locally. Forum had helped lakhs of
people to prevent or epidemic diseases in the areas affected
by floods, earthquake and other natural calamities
anywhere in our country. During bad days of COVID our

Forum oganised COVID Prevention Program and helped
large number of people who were in distress. Our Forum
team helped lot of COVID affected patients also with lot of
dedication.
EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE
We express our sincere gratitude and humble
pranams to our Guruji Dr.G.V.Chalapathi, a legendary
Homoeopath from Ananthapur (A.P.). who taught us
Homoeopathy and all important aspects of managing acute
and chronic diseases, including complicated cases. He had
the treasure of knowledge which he gained through his 60
years of free service to the millions of people especially to
whom institutional medical care is out of reach.
Dr.GVC garu is a staunch champion for the cause of the
Homoeopathic System and an outstanding practictioner of
this art and science of healing. He propagated human
service mission not only by medical treatment but also
through publishing Homoeopathic books in a simple
language for a layman to understand Homoeopathy and
promoted self- reliance in health care by conducting more
than 150 Homoeopathic Awareness Camps at various
places in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa. In
recognition of his yeoman service to the suffering
humanity, Krishnadevaraya University felicitated with
Honorary Doctorate and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh
honoured him with “Prathibha Rajeev Prashasti
Puraskar” on 19th November 2005.
We express our humble pranams to Sri Sirivaram
Ranganatha Rao, who was our guide, philosopher and
mentor. He taught us Homoeopathy through his great
knowledge of Upanishads, Bhagavadgita, Mahabharatha,
Bhagavatha, Ramayana and his great humour. We also
express our gratitude to all the members of HSRF,
Anantapur, who also contributed to enrich our knowledge.

We are thankful to Sri Lanka Krishnamurthy and Sanathana
Dharma Samrakshana Samsthe who were responsible for
introducing Dr. G V Cahalatphi garu and his team to us and
other Homoeo lovers of Bangalore. The Forum expresses

Management of National Aerospace Laboratories, Vijaya

LIFE AND CONTRIBUTION OF Dr.HAHNEMANN

Founder of Homeopathic System
Dr.Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann was born on
10th April 1755 in a poor porcelain painter’s family in
Meissen, Saxony, Germany. In 1779, he took MD (Doctorate
of Medicine) from Erlangen Medical college, the highest
medical education at that time. He had vast knowledge
of Minerology, Chemistry, Botany, Pharmacology and
Pharmacy. He learned German, Latin, Greek, Hebrew,
French, Arabic and few more languages. He was an
Intellectual and gifted with treasure of knowledge.
Because of his vast knowledge in Medicine, related science
subjects, various languages and also his concern for the
patients, he became very famous Doctor within a short
time. But he was disappointed as the patients were not
getting cured completely. The treatment was superficial.
He could see no basic philosophy or logical connection in
the treatment. Then prevailing medical system was
completely based on arbitrary opinions. He started feeling
helpless for his inability to give rational and effective
treatment. He felt that he was harming rather than helping
the patients. His conscious did not permit and finally left

medical practice. He joined a library as a translator to
maintain his big family.
In the year 1790 when he was translating Prof.Cullen’s
Materia Medica from English to German, he came across
Cullen’s explanation that Cinchona bark (Peruvian bark)
can cure Malarial fever because of its bitterness.
Hahnemann was not convinced with the explanation. He
thought that there were so many bitter substances, but
they do not cure malaria.
He was the worshipper of Truth and was not used to
accept the saying of others until he himself could verify the
truth in it. He was a keen observer.
Dr.Hahnemann stumbled upon the idea of testing
medicine on himself to know the truth. Thus the human
proving of medicines started in the medical era. He
found that Cinchona bark could induce in him a healthy
person, the same symptoms it would cure in the sick
person. This discovery of the Nature’s Law of Cure of
diseases, lead to the first Law of Homoeopathy i.e., “The
Law of Similars”, or “Like Cures Like” (Similia Similibus
Curentur).
Hahnemann and his practictioner friends started proving
other remedies which were used at that time for various
diseases. They recorded meticuluously all the symptoms
reported by the provers and published in a book “Materia
Medica Pura” with 61 medicines. He called it pura (pure)
not because it was free from errors, but free from
speculations. It was the record observed facts alone,
inependent of any theories of their mechanism.
Hahnemann realised that law of similars was a universal
law. He named this method of treatment Homoeopathy.
Homoeos means similar and Pathos means suffering.
Hannemann and his friends were practicing with the
medicines they proved and results were excellent.
Hahnemann’s article about Homeoopathic Treatment for
the first time

published in the year 1796 in Hufeland’s journal.
Treatment in the line of this new revolutionised art of
healing started on different types of diseases in his daily
practice. He got greater insight into his new system which
was quite different from and even opposite to prevailing
system. He formulated Laws, Principles and Techniques
of practice in his book “Organon of the Healing Art”
published in 1810.
This revolution in the medical field invited the wrath of
the pharmaceutical chemists, well known medical
practitioners, vested interests and he could not practice
his new system further smoothly. He was forced to leave
places of his practice and ultimately he left his
motherland Germany. He was offered patronage in
different countries. Whatever may be the adverse
conditions, he never stopped his research, practice and
publication of his findings. He never compromised. He
was a true Scientist. It was a great achievement that he
developed a new medical system with logical laws and
principles completely within his life time. He was the first
medical doctor insisted upon nutritional food for good
health.
As a culmination of his struggle to get at the truth he
was invited to settle in Paris in 1835. His name and fame
spread all over the world among the genius and elite
medical practitioners and public. He was very busy with
his practice and guidance. He was highly respected and
was happy in his last 8 years. He died at the age of 88
years on 2nd July 1843. His words “I did not live in vain”
shall be the aim of every human being.
Law of Similars in Bhagavatha
In 33rd shloka, 5th Chapter, first skandha of Maha
Bhagavatha, Law of Similars is mentioned:
Amayo yah ca bhutanam jayathe yena suvrata tad
eva hi amayam dravyam na punati cikitsitam?

 HOMOEOPATHY – ITS SALIENT FEATURES
1. Homoeopathic System is Nano Science and more scientific.
a. Laws and Principles of Homoeopathy are based on nature’s
principles (prakrithi dharmas) and are well defined in a
book called “Organon of the Healing Art”.
b. All the medicines are proved on healthy human beings
and not on animals. During the proving, the reaction or
response of the mind and body was observed and recorded
systematically in the form of symptoms in a book called
“Materia Medica Pura”.
c. Nature of the person, State of mind and his/her likings/
dislikings are most important to treat the patients.
d. The treatment is individualistic, Holistic and Non-Toxic.
2. Homoeo Laws & Principles and medicines can never
become obsolete. New medicines can be added to the
existing one.
3. Homoeo medicines work at energy level and not material
level as they are in potentised or dynamised state. They
stimulate and strengthen positive energy (vital force) of
the body which is responsible for proper functioning of our
body and eliminate the negative energy which is responsible
for the sickness, thereby restores the health.
4. A medicinal substance which produces specific disease
symptoms in a healthy person cures similar symptoms in a
sick person. This is called Law of Similars, Like cures Like
(Similia Similibus Curentur). This is the basis to prescribe
medicines to sick persons.
5. Cure takes place gently, quickly and permanently from
(a) centre to circumference, (b) upward to downward (c)
more important organs to less important organs (d) Last
appeared symptoms disappear first and first appeared
symptoms disappear last.
6. Total health can be restored by administering proper
constitutional medicine and proper dosage.

7. No need to depend on diagnostic reports, patient’s
expression about his/her sickness, emotional and physical
suffering is the main focus for selecting the medicine.
Treats the patient as a whole.
8. Mode of administration is easy. Children love to take,
thereby positive mind for recovery. Medicines can be carried
easily anywhere. Medicines are not costly.
9. It is safe, sure, economical and dependable medical system.
No side effects or reactions and no suppression of the
disease.
10. There is no expiry for homoeo medicines if stored
properly. Medicines are easily available in all the homoeo
shops worldwide.
11. Homeopathy is very useful in medical emergencies,
epidemic diseases, acute and chronic diseases, genetic
disorders, woman ailments, pregnancy management, child
care, old age care, professional ailments, ailments of sports
persons, mental troubles (anxieties, fears, depressions,
delusions etc.) and all sorts of lifestyle diseases.
12. Children born under homeo care are very active,
intelligent/ intellectuals and free from day to day health
problems as they develop good resistance to diseases.
13. It can be used extensively for birds, animals and plants.
14. Common people can use homeo medicines as home
remedies for day to day simple ailments by keeping about
20 medicines in the house after attending 2 or 3 days
Homoeopathic Awareness Workshops conducted by well
experienced Homoeopaths or Homoeopathic Oganisations.
They can be self-reliant in their health care. They can also
take care of their pet animals in a much better way.
15. The most important feature of this medical system is,
Patients and their families need not sell their properties and
become bankrupt for their medical treatment and suffer
lifelong.
16. Mahatma Gandhi emphasised “Homoeopathy is the

For quick recovery from health problems
1. Inhale lot of fresh air. Do breathing exercise / Pranayama.
2. Drink plenty of water from morning to evening.
3. Eat simple, nutritious and healthy food at right time.
Consume organic food materials, if available. Consume
various types of Millets regularly instead of rice and wheat.
Eat seasonal fruits, dry fruits, nuts and sprouts.
Stop consuming all junk food. It spoils the health.
4. Do daily physical exercise or Pranayama and Yoga.
5. See that your body throws out all waste matter regularly in
the form of sweat, urine and stool.
6. Have comfortable and relaxing sleep for 7 hours.
7. Have positive thoughts / emotions and avoid negative
thoughts / emotions.
Whoever follows these things can live with fairly good health.
Whenever there is necessity, if they use Homoeo medicines for
their health problems, they develop excellent immunity.

 HOW TO BUY HOMOEO MEDICINES?
Homoeopathic shops are very limited and located in towns/cities.
Find out where good quality Homoeo Medicines are available.
There are some companies manufacturing good quality Homoeo
medicines in India. Always ask for Indian make medicines only.
There is no need for imported medicines which are 3 to 5 times
costlier than Indian Make Medicines. While buying the medicines
if you do not ask Indian make medicines, you may get medicines
with Imported Medicine label which will be very costly.
Tell how much quantity medicine you need. Otherwise you may
get big size bottle which is costly and you may not need. It is
available in 5ml, 10ml, 15ml, 30ml & 100ml quantity. You will
have to mention clearly, whether you want the medicine in liquid
or pills or powder or tablets form.
Homoeo medicines are available in Mother Tinctures, Dilutions
and round Pills. Pills are available in size 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50. It is
economical and convenient to use size 20 pills. Bio-chemic
medicines are available in Powder form and Tablets form in 25
gm, 100 gm & 450 gm. You must have proper clarity before
ordering the medicines.

How to use Homoeo Medicines?

Dosage: One dose means Four (4) Pills of size 20 and 2 or3 pills
of size 30 for children and adults.
Potency: It is safe to use 30 potency by the beginners/learners.
Take the advice of experienced to use higher potencies and deep
acting medicines like Sulphur, Lycopodium etc. which should not
be repeated frequently (refer Materia Medica).
How to take? Always wash the mouth with water before taking
the medicine. Take Homoeo medicine (Pills/Tablets/Powder)
with the help of clean white paper/dry spoon, keep below the
tongue and allow it to dissolve. No need to drink water. As a
general rule take Homoeo Medicine either half an hour before or
one hour after food. Homoeo Medicine works better if taken on
empty stomach.
Repetition of dosage: Generally the dose can be repeated once
in 4 to 12 hours. If required, it can be repeated 1 or 2 or 3 hourly

depending on the need. In emergencies it can be repeated more
frequently, even after every 10 minutes. In such situations it is
advised to dissolve about 20 pills in one tea cup of drinking
water. Stir it well and drink one tea spoon of this medicated
water as one dose. It is more effective and economical. Keep the
cup at a clean place covered with a lid. Do not keep in fridge. This
water can be kept even for 15 days. It is advisable to maintain
uniform gap between doses for Medicine to be more effective.
How to store? Do not interchange the caps of medicine bottles.
Keep Homoeo Medicines away from strong smells of Camphor,
Spices, Inscent sticks, Perfumes, Tobacco products, Other system
medicines, Dust, Smoke, Heat and Dampness. Keep the Homoeo
medicines bottles in a clean plastic or stainless steel
box/container. The box should be kept neatly in a cup-board. No
expiry date, if the Homoeo medicines are preserved in glass
bottles and protected well.

 COMMON HEALTH PROBLEMS

INJURIES, SPRAINS & BURNS

Arnica Mont.: Excellent remedy for all sorts of injuries after a fall
or an accident. Severe pain due to injuries to muscles.
Unconscious due to concussions after an accident. Blood clots
anywhere in the body. It heals surgical wounds quickly.
Immediately after injury, take Arnica 30 after every 15 minutes, 4
to 6 doses to get quick relief from severe pain.
Bellis Perennis.: It works like Arnica. It is an excellent medicine
after injuries to the deeper tissues & nerves, after major surgical
work, formation of tumours or cysts due to injuries. Excellent
remedy for twisted and sprained ankle or wrist. Sprains of joints
with great muscular soreness and bruised feeling. Soreness in
joints as if bruised. Excellent remedy for spondylitis, slipped disc
and other spinal pains. Immediately after injury or ankle sprain,
take Bellis Per. 30 after every 15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses to get
quick relief from severe pain.
Calendula: It stops bleeding quickly after injuries or surgeries or
tooth extraction. Prevents pus formation and septic conditions,
heals the wound quickly. One part of Mother Tincture to be mixed
in 20 to 30 parts of clean water to prepare solution for external
application to open injuries. Calendula ointment is also available.
Cantharis: Both external & internal medicine for all types of
burns. An excellent remedy for all types of burns. Burns due to
fire, acids, chemicals, fumes, crackers, silencer burns or burns due
to any hot substance. Burns in mouth by sipping hot coffee/tea,
etc. One part of Mother Tincture to be mixed in 20 to 30 parts of
clean water to prepare solution for external application on burns.
It also cures burning sensation anywhere on body without burns.
Immediately after burn injury or burning urination, take
Cantharis 30 after every 15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses to get quick
relief from severe burning pain.
Causticum: An excellent first aid remedy for severe and deep
burns. Pains of burns, bad effects of burns, old burns that do not
heal well. Old injuries reopen and form pus.

Hypericum: Injuries to spine, coccyx and nerves. Crushed finger
tips. It cures Tetanus. Corrects the ‘slip disc’ in the spine without
traction. Immediately after injury, take Hypericum 30 after every
15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses to get quick relief from severe pain.
Apply Hpericum Mother Tincture or Ointment on crushed finger
immediately.
Ledum : It is the A. T. S. (Anti Tetanus Serum) of Homoeopathy. It
prevents Tetanus. Good remedy for Punctured wounds due to
sharp instruments, rusted parts etc.
Rhustox: Sprains in joints of hands, legs, neck and spine due to
over stretching/straining of organs or due to lifting/carrying of
weights or while working or playing etc. Immediately after sprain,
take Rhustox 30 after every 15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses to get quick
relief from severe pain.
Ruta Gra.: It is an excellent remedy for injured and bruised
bones, deeper muscles attached to bones, tendons and ligaments,
sprained small joints and strained eyes. It is similar to Rhus Tox,
but deeper than Rhus Tox. Immediately after injury to bone, take
Ruta 30 after every 15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses to get quick relief
from severe pain.
Staphysagria: Very good remedy to heal sharp cut wounds from
knife or sharp item. So, good remedy to heal surgical wounds or
sharp cuts. Lacerated wounds.
Symphytum: It joins fractured bones quickly. Hairline cracks in
bones. Good remedy for ulcers or cancer of bones. It relieves the
irritability and pain of fractured and ulcerated bone surfaces,
even in very old healed bone wounds.
Use Arnica or Calendula or Cantharis as advised in Homoeo
medicine for external use.
Use BSC 16 as advised in Very Useful Bio Salts Combinations
(BSC) in this book.

BITES OF INSECTS & ANIMALS

Aconite Nap.: It is an excellent remedy if person has lot of
anxiety or fear of death after insect or snake or animal bite. In
most cases fear itself kills the person. Give one dose of Aconite
200 or 1M to clear the fear and to be followed by indicated
remedy. Cutting, stabbing or burning pain may be felt, along
with swelling, tingling, numbness.

Apis Mel.: Good remedy for bites of bees, wasp or any other
insects, which causes red rash, swelling, burning and stinging
pain, better by cold water application.
Arsenic Alb.: Good remedy for bites of insects and scorpion
which causes burning pain, better by warm application. Very
Useful in cases of great restlessness, fear of death, and severe
weakness after an insect or snake bite. Ulcerated or infected
wounds after bites can be cured, if there is good relief in pain or
burning by warm application on the wound.
Belladonna: Excellent remedy for dog or rabid animals bite.
Good drug for Hydrophobia.
Cantharis: It is very useful if bite or sting of insect results in
intensely burning pain. The area of inflammation is red and
blisters may develop.
Cedron: Has power to antidote poison of snake bite or insect
stings.
Crotalus Hurridus: Good remedy for Rattle snake bite. (This
remedy can be given till the patient reaches emergency medical
care in hospital)
Echinacea Mother Tincture: Blood poisoning due to snake
bites, bites and stings of poisonous insects. Give 20 drops with
4 tea spoons of water every 15 minutes till the patient reaches
emergency medical care in hospital.
Golondrina (Euphorbia Polycarpa): An antidote to snake
poison. Also, its use renders the body immune to the snake
poison. Monthly one dose of Golondrina 200 can be taken to
develop immunity by the people who has the great risk of snake
bites.
Hydrophobinum (Lyssinum): Good drug for dog bite and bites
of rabid animals. One dose of Lyssinum 200 to be taken to
prevent rabies after dog or rabid animal bite.
Hypericum: It quickly relieves the pain, repairs the damaged
nerves and cures injuries to nerves from bites of animals.
Ledum: It antidotes animal poison. An excellent remedy for
scorpion bite, mosquito bite, any insect bite, any animal bite,
human bite. Not for dog bite or snake bite. Black or blue
ulcerated or infected wounds after bites also can be cured, if
there is good relief in pain or burning by ice cold application on
the wound.

Leucas Aspera (Drona): Useful for snake bites or scorpion
bites. Mother Tincture to be applied externally. Same Mother
Tincture to be taken internally after every 15 minutes, 10 to 15
drops with 4 teaspoons of water till patients feels better or
reaches emergency medical care in hospital.
Naja: Good remedy for Cobra bite. This remedy can be given till
the patient reaches emergency medical care in hospital.
Staphysagria: Excellent for the people who are easily
susceptible to mosquitoes or insect bites. They often seem to be
stung more than those around them. The area affected is highly
sensitive to touch with intense itching.
Urtica urens: Good remedy for insects bites that cause red rash
with itching, stinging and burning pains. Feels worse by cold
application and better by warm application.

EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE
Aconite: Fear of death due to horrible shock after seeing or
escaping from jaws of death in accidents, terrorist attacks,
murders, natural disasters, after the death of loved ones etc.
Fear of death during sickness, patient tells that he will die at
particular time and date. Fear of death in pregnant women. It is
a safe medicine at any stage of pregnancy. Fear of crossing
streets, going into crowds, of future and of darkness. Any
illness started after fear or shock viz., fever, pain in any part of
the body, diarrhoea, suppressed menses, threatened abortion
etc. can be cured by Aconite. Music is unbearable and makes
her sad. Thinks his thoughts come from the stomach and his
body parts are abnormally thick. Feels as if what had just been
done was a dream.
Anacardium: It is a great remedy for the troubled mind of
school children and college students. Poor memory, lack of self-
confidence, aversion to study and fear of examinations can be
corrected by giving Anacardium 200 once in 3 days for 2 to 3
months before and during the examinations. It clears
examination fear and improves memory. Some students
develop fever, headache, loose motions stomach pain etc., just
before or during exams. Anacardium prevents and cures such
problems. During examinations forgets or unable to recall the
subject which he studied very well. Fixed ideas, imaginations,

thinks he is possessed of two persons or wills, one is
commanding and another is opposing, thereby depressed.
Irresistible desire to swear or curse.
Antimonium Crudum: Child cannot bear to be touched or
looked at. Cross and contradictive, whatever done to pacify fails
to give satisfaction. Sulky, does not wish to speak. Angry at
every little attention. When child is very cranky and crying
continuously without any cause can be nicely pacified by 2 or 3
doses of Antim Crud 30 or 200.
Apis Mel.: Jealousy, fright, rage, vexation, grief and bad effects
from it. Cannot concentrate mind when attempts to study.
Women and girls normally careful, become awkward and drop
things. Foolishly suspicious. Childish and silly behaviour in
women after delivery. Fear of being poisoned. Cannot
concentrate mind when attempting to read or write. Invites
trouble about everything.
Arnica: Fear of touch or approach of anyone. Wants to be left
alone. Mental strain or shock. Fear of sudden death due to heart
attack at night. Fear of space, public places, crowds, accidents.
What he reads quickly escapes from mind. Unconscious, when
spoken to, answers correctly, but relapses. Great desire to
scratch, scratches wall, bed, head etc.
Arsenic Alb.: Great anxiety and restlessness. Great fear with
cold sweat, fears of death, being left alone. Thinks it is useless to
take medicine, but wants medicine. Suicidal. Mental and
physical restlessness, changes place to place. Sensitive to
disorder and confusion. Very systematic and orderly. Very
careful and calculative about money, Miserly, suspicious, selfish
and malicious. Great fear of infections and incurable diseases.
Belladonna: Patient is lively when well, but violent when sick.
Kicks, bites, tears things to pieces and pulls hair. Want to attack
attendants and run away. Imaginations, sees monsters, hideous
faces. Delirium. Loss of consciousness. Changeable temperament.
Bryonia: Fear and anxiety about future. Always thinks and talks
of business. Want to be left alone. Very irritable and ugly
behaviour. Determined and reserved. In delirium wants to go
home though he is at home. Hopeless of being cured and has
fear of death.
Cantharis: Acute sexual mania. Excessive sexual desire, but not

relieved by doing sex. Sings lewd songs. Constantly attempts to
do something, but does nothing. Outbursts of rage with crying,
barking and biting. Sudden loss of consciousness.
Carbo Veg.: Slow thinking, lethargic, anxious, irritable, dejected,
unhappy, indifference, hears everything without pleasure or
pain. Aversion to darkness. Fear of ghosts. Suddenly loss of
memory with no reason. Sluggish, stupid and lazy. Easily
frightened or startled.
Causticum: Intensely sympathetic. Ailments from long-lasting
grief, sudden emotions. Thinking of complaints, aggravate the
problems. Child does not want to go to bed alone. Least thing
makes it cry. Sad, hopeless.
Chamomilla: Very bad temper and uncivil behavior. Child
beats other children for no reason. In disgust and bad temper,
he knocks his head against wall or floor. No fear and no shame.
He does whatever he wants to do. Nobody can stop him except
few doses of Chamomilla. Child wants many things, when
offered throws them away and demands again. He does not
know what he wants and what he does. He calms down only
when carried about and petted constantly. Child exceedingly
irritable and crying. He does not want to be touched or looked
at or spoken.
Cina: Child very irritable, ugly, cross and dissatisfied. Does not
want to be touched or held or carried or even observed.
Restlessness, fanatic state of mind, picking the nose, grinding of
teeth and scratching of anus are typical symptoms. Wants many
things but rejects when offered. Gets convulsions when scolded
or punished.
Colocynthis: Ailments from insult and suppressed anger.
Generally restless, anxious, reserved and very irritable. Strong
sense of right and wrong. Feels humiliated if his/her opinion is
contradicted. Becomes angry when questioned. Badly affected
by the misfortune of others. Does not want to meet the friend.
Gelsemium: Ailments from emotional excitement, fright, fear,
exciting news (good or bad), stage fear etc. Ailments from
anxiety or fear about any difficult task ahead, for example:
attending interview or examination, appearing in public,
performing on stage, meeting important people or attending
official meetings or arranging of domestic functions may cause

frequent urination, trembling, fever, headache, low or high BP,
asthmatic attacks, loss of voice, fainting etc. Desire to be quiet
and left alone. Lack of courage. Lethargic. Wants self-
confidence. Wants control over mind and nervous anxiety.
Clings to persons or furniture. Child grasps and clings to mother
or attendant.
Hypericum: Makes mistakes in writing. Forgets what she
wanted to say. Feels lifted high in air and anxious as he may fall
from height. Melancholy (gloomy and sad).
Ignatia: Changeable mood, introspective, silently brooding.
Melancholic, sad, tearful. Not communicative. Sighing and
sobbing. After shocks, grief, disappointment. Grief after loss of
loved persons or pets or job or articles.
Kali Phos.: Anxiety, nervousness, lethargy. Indisposition to
meet people. Extreme lassitude and depression. Very nervous,
starts easily, irritable. Brain-fag, hysteria, night terrors. Walking
in sleep. Loss of memory. Slightest labor seems a heavy task.
Great despondency about business. Shyness, disinclined to
converse.
Magnesia Phos.: Illusions of the senses and mental disorders.
All the time crying about pain. Highly nervous temperament.
Inability to think clearly. Always talks of pains. Indisposition to
mental work or study. Drowsiness on every attempt to study.
Talks to self constantly or sits in moody silence. Carry things
from one place to another and back again.
Nux Vomica: He is highly sensitive both emotionally and
physically. Highly irritable, sensitive and cannot bear noise,
light, sound, music, strong smells, chill weather (winter cold),
pain etc. He is very impatient, hurried, aggressive, rash,
expressive, impulsive, explosive, irritable, jealous and short
tempered. Gets anger easily. He argues and quarrels. Very
outspoken, arrogant, fault finding and dictatorial.
Pulsatilla: Puls people are mild, gentle, soft, kind hearted and
yielding easily. They will adjust to any surroundings or
situations. They are highly emotional, sad, cry easily.
Changeable moods, contradictory in thoughts. Becomes highly
irritable. Indecisive, timid, easily discouraged. Fear of opposite
sex. Fear of being alone. Wants company and likes sympathy.
They express extremes of pleasure and pain. Feels lot of comfort

from consolation. Depression of religious nature. Children are
fussy, emotional, more attached to parents, very possessive,
likes to be cared or pampered and can be pacified easily.
Rhustox: Always feels sad due to pains. Thoughts of suicide.
Fear of being poisoned. Lot of anxiety and physical restlessness,
with continued change of position, worse at night. Rest makes
mad. Thoughts of suicide, wants to drown himself. Forgetful,
cannot remember most recent events. Fear at night, cannot lie
in bed.
Ruta Gra.: Dissatisfied with himself and others, disposed to
weep. Suspicious, that he is always deceived. Irritable, quarrels
and contradicts.
Spigelia: Fear of sharp pointed things, pins, needles etc. Mind is
sad, forgetful and blank. Sits as if lost in thoughts, stares at a
single object. Gloomy, suicidal mood. Easily offended. Restless
and anxious.
Staphysagria: Bad effects of anger, insults and suppressed bad
emotions. Sexual sins and excesses. Very sensitive to what
others say about her. Dwells on sexual matters; prefers
lonliness. Peevish. Child cries for many things, and refuses them
when offered.

HEAD – HEADACHE
Aconite: Headache comes on with sudden violence with fullness
and heaviness in head. Headache due to anxiety, fear or sudden
shock or exposure to cold wind or hot weather or high BP.
Vertigo(giddiness) on rising or shaking the head. Feeling of
brain agitated with boiling water.
Antim. Crud.: Headache due to indigestion and constipation
after consuming pickles, tinned food, biscuits, chocolates,
indiscriminate sundry eating, due to exposure to heat of stove
while cooking, after bathing. Headache with great loss of hair.
Apis Mel.: Headache with heat, throbbing, pressing pains and
sudden stabbing pain in head, worse from movement, better on
pressure. Bores the head into pillow and screams out due to
headache. Whole brain feels very tired. Hydrocephalus head
(accumulation of water in the head). Good medicine for Brain

Fever. Vertigo (giddiness) with sneezing, worse lying down or
closing eyes.
Arnica: Headache or vertigo (giddiness) after a blow or blunt
hit, injury to the head, an accident. Sensitiveness of brain with
sharp pinching pains. Head hot with cold body. Chronic vertigo,
objects rotating around especially when walking. Headache
after physical strain.
Arsenic Alb.: Headache after consuming spoiled food, fridge
items, cool drinks, ice creams, contaminated food/water etc.
Periodical burning pains with restlessness and lot of weakness,
better by cold application or cool air.
Belladonna: Throbbing, pulsating and bursting headache with
great violence, worse from light, noise, lying down. Better by
tight bandaging, semi erect posture, without light and noise.
Headache after haircut, during or after Air Travel, due to
exposure to hot weather. Vertigo with falling to the left side or
backwards. Bores the head into pillow, draws backward and
rolls side to side (meningitis, hydrocephalus), constant
moaning. Good medicine to prevent or cure Brain Fever
(Encephilitis).
Bellis Perennis: Headache from back of head to the top of the
head. Bruised soreness. Headache after a blow or injury to head
(if Arnica fails). Vertigo in elderly people.
Bryonia: Bursting, splitting headache worse by least movement,
better by tying the head tightly with a cloth and lying down
without movement. Headache after physical strain. Sinus
headache. Headache due to constipation or exposure to hot
weather. Vertigo, nausea, faintness on rising, movement.
Cantharis: Burning sensation in the brain. Sensation as if
boiling water is in the brain.
Vertigo, worse in the open air.
Carbo Veg.: Headache from over indulgence. Feeling of heavy
hat pressed on head. Heaviness and constriction head. Vertigo
with nausea and noises in ears. Hair feels sore and falls of easily.
Chamomilla: Throbbing headache in one half of the brain.
Inclined to bend the head backward. Headache after outburst
of anger.
Cina: Headache alternates with pain in the abdomen, better by
bending forward. Headache due to intestinal worms. Headache

on using eyes.
Colocynthis: Severe headache with nausea and vomiting,
soreness of scalp better by pressure and heat. Vertigo on
turning the head to left. Headache after an insult or being
scolded or hurt feeling.
Dulcamara: Headache due to exposure to rainy weather or
getting wet in rain.
Eupatorium Perf.: Throbbing pain. Pressure as if a cap of lead-
like heavy weight pressed over whole skull. Periodical
headache, every 3rd and 7th day. Pain in back of head after lying
down. Vertigo, sensation of falling to the left. Vomiting of bile.
Gelsemium: Headache starting at the back of neck and
spreading to the top of the head. Headache with muscular
soreness of neck and shoulders. Wants to raise the head on high
pillow. Heaviness of head, band like sensation around the head.
Headache preceded by blindness, feels better by profuse
urination. Headache due to anxiety in anticipation. Headache
due to fear of examination/interview.
Hypericum: Heaviness of head, feels as if touched by icy cold
hand. Throbbing pain at top of head, worse in closed room.
Head feels longer, elongated to a point. Feels brain is
compressed. Brain feels alive. Brain fag and nerves weakness.
Hair fall.
Ignatia: Headache due to grief, disappointment and sadness.
Ipecac: Headache with severe nausea and vomiting not relieved
even after vomiting. Feels bone of skull crushed or bruised. Pain
extends to the teeth and root of tongue.
Magnesia Phos.: Headache of school girls due to exertion of
study, worse 10 to 11 AM and 4 to 5 PM. In others, headache
every night at 10 PM. Better by pressure and heat. It starts at
occiput, nape of neck and extends to the head. Involuntary
shaking of head.
Nux Vomica: Headache with severe nausea, but no vomiting,
wants to press the head against something, intoxicated feeling.
Headache due to mental strain or exposure to cold wind or
Sunlight or hot weather or late food or no proper sleep or
constipation. Gets up with headache and goes to bed with
headache. Headache after consuming stimulants like spicy &
khara food, non-veg., alcoholic drinks, coffee, gutka, drugs,

medicines etc. Cannot bear light and noise during headache.
Headache with severe cold & sneezing, better in warm room.
Headache after an argument or quarrel or anger. Headache due
to “no sleep at night” or due to night duty or going to bed very
late. Headache relieved by induced vomiting or sleeping in dark
room without noise and covering fully (head to toe) with
blanket.
Podophyllum: Headache alternates with diarrhoea. Rolls head
from side to side with moaning, vomiting and eyelids half
closed.
Pulsatilla: Headache of school girls who are about to
menstruate. Headache before or during or after menses or
associated with menstrual disorders. Headache from excess
work. Headache after eating fried/oily food, sweets, fats,
bakery food, cakes, noodles, chips, food served in functions, junk
food etc. Headache with severe cold & nose block. Headache
worse in indoors, relieved by cold application or walking slowly
in open air. Headache with severe cold & nose block, better in
fresh air.
Rhustox: Headache after head bath or oil bath, swimming,
bathing in ponds or wells or swimming pools (still water),
getting wet or exposure to wet / rainy weather.
Ruta. G.: Severe headache or pain in eye balls with redness and
hotness or pain at nape of neck due to eye strain from reading,
watching TV, working on computer, or doing fine work like
sewing, engraving, watch repair, electronic instruments repair,
any work that causes lot of eye strain.
Sanguinaria: Headache on the right side of the head.
Spigelia: Headache on the left side of the head.

HEAD – VERTIGO (Giddiness)

Aconite: Vertigo, worse on rising and shaking head.
Arnica: Chronic vertigo, feels as if all the objects are rotating
around when walking.
Belladonna: Vertigo, feels as if falling to the left side or
backward.
Borax: Vertigo from downward motion, afraid of falling.

Bryonia: Vertigo, nausea, faintness and confusion on rising,
while walking.
Carbo Veg.: Vertigo with nausea and sounds in ears due to
stomach disorder.
Chelidonium: Vertigo due to liver disorder.
Cocculus: Vertigo and nausea while travelling by motor vehicle.
Travel sickness.
Conium: Vertigo on lying down and when turning in the bed,
when turning the head one side to another side or turning the
eyes, worse shaking the head, slightest noise, conversation of
others.
Eupatorium Perf.: Vertigo, sensation of falling to the left.
Vomiting of bile.
Gelsemium: Vertigo beginning and spreading from back of the
head. Heaviness of head. Vertigo from anticipatory fear or
anxiety.
Ledum: Vertigo (giddiness) when walking with tendency to fall
on one side. Distress when head is covered. Nose bleed.
Magnesia Phos.: Vertigo on moving, fall forward on closing the
eyes, better when walking in open air.
Nux Vomica.: Vertigo, feels as if turning in circles. Vertigo with
momentary loss of consciousness. Intoxicated feeling, worse in
the morning.
Podophyllum: Vertigo with tendency to fall forward.
Rhustox: Vertigo when rising from lying down or sitting or
from bending forward.
Use BSC 7 as mentioned in Very Useful Bio Salts Combinations.

FACE
Aconite: Red, hot, flushed, swollen. One cheek red, the other
pale. On rising the red face becomes deathly pale, or he
becomes dizzy. Tingling in cheeks and numbness. Neuralgia,
especially of left side, with restlessness, tingling, and numbness.
Pain in jaws.
Antim. Crud.: Big size painful pimples on face leaving pits and
scars. Pimples, pustules, and boils on face. Yellow crusted
eruption on cheeks and chin. Worse after junk food.
Antim. Tart. : To clear bluish-red scars or pitting caused by
pimples/pustules.

Apis Mel.: Face, nose, lips, ears red, swollen, puffy with stinging
and burning pains like after insect bite, feels comfort by cold
application. Red rash on face with itching, burning, and pin
pricking feeling. Problem worse by warm and better by cold
water application.
Arnica Mont.: Symmetrical distribution of group of small
pimples on face.
Arsenic Alb.: Swelling of face with accumulation of water
especially below eye lids. Pimples or any skin eruptions with
burning, stinging pains, better by warm application. Black spots
and dirty skin on face. Old look of face in children.
Belladonna: Red rash on face with itching. Red boil like
pimples, hot, burning and painful.
Berberis Aquifollium Mother Tincture or Potencies:
Pimples, dry, rough, scaly. Eruptions on scalp extending to face
and neck. It cleanses the skin, removes scars and improves
complexion.

disappears suddenly. Red and hot face, heaviness in the head,
hot and feverish feeling either no discharge from the nose or
mucus mixed with blood. Problem due to hot weather or

Bryonia Alb.: Cold develops slowly. There is lot of cold in the
head, but no discharge or very little discharge from nose. Good
remedy for nose bleeding. Feels lot of dryness in the nose,

dryness. Nose block with congestion in head. Shooting pain in
forehead due to sinus. Thirst for more water in longer intervals.
Problems caused due to exposure to dry, hot weather. Worse

Calccarea Carb.: Nostrils dry, sore, ulcerated. Stoppage of nose.
Bad smelling yellow discharge. Bad smell in nose. Polyps,

Smell like old cheese. Worse from dry cold winds, cool air, fan
air, riding on vehicles, slightest cold breeze, cold food or drink.

Sabadilla: Spasmodic sneezing with running nose, eyes red and

in the middle of the lower lip. Changeability of taste, greasy,
bilious, salty, foul. Loss of taste or bad taste. Taste of food

Yellow or white coated tongue with tenacious mucus. Lot of
sweet saliva, tenacious, frothy (foamy) like cotton. Bad breath

Rhustox: Pain or cracking or dislocation of jaws while chewing.
Corners of mouth ulcerated. White coated tongue with
triangular red tip.
Mix 10 drops of either Calendula or Echinacea mother tincture
in about 30 ml of clean warm water. Daily 3 times do gargling of
mouth, when there is pain, swelling, ulcers, infection, bleeding,

Kreosotum: A good remedy for severe pain of decayed teeth,

Merc. Sol.: Crowns of teeth decayed, very painful and sensitive
to both cold and warmth, better by luke warm water. Gums
spongy, recede and bleed easily, boils and ulcers.
Natrum Sulph.: Toothache better by holding cold water in
mouth. Gums burn like fire.
Nitric Acid.: Teeth become loose, gums soft, spongy and
bleeding.
Nux Vomica: Toothache due to cold things. Gums swollen,
white and bleeding.
Phytolacca: In teething children irresistible desire to bite the

Sepia: Pain in teeth during pregnancy, menses and during cold,

Silicea: Gum boils, abscess at root of teeth, pus formation,
pyorrhea. Feeling of teeth too large and too long. (This is an
excellent remedy to perform root canal treatment)
Staphysagria: Teeth decay as soon as they erupt. Teeth loose,
black and crumbling. Toothache during menses. Gums spongy
and bleeding easily (Pyorrhoea).
Thuja: Teeth decay at roots while crown remains sound,
crumble and turn yellow. Gums retract. Pyorrhoea. Teeth very
sensitive
Use BSC 28 as mentioned in Very Useful Bio Salts Combinations.
Apply cotton dipped in Plantago mother tincture or Echinacea
mother tincture on decayed and painful tooth. You can also put
the drops of one of these tinctures directly at painful spot. It
relives pain quickly.
Immediately after tooth extraction, press the cotton made wet
with in Calendula mother tincture. It stops bleeding, heals fast,
prevents infection.
Take internally Arnica 30 after every one hour 4 times and

Take 100 gms Triphala Powder available in Ayurvedic or Herbal
Medicines shops. Add powder of 10 gms Rock Salt or Table salt.
You can also add as per your liking (not compulsory) any of
following powders.
1) Alum (spatika) 5 gms, 2) Lavanga (Cloves) 10 to 15 numbers,
3) dried Pudeena (mint) leaves10 to 20 gms, 4) dried Coriander
leaves 10 to 20 gms, 5) dried Neem leaves 5 to 10 gms.
Massage or rub this tooth powder with finger on gums and
teeth. No need for tooth brush. There is no harm if the saliva is
swallowed.
If you can get Desi Cow dung cakes burned ash, make fine
powder and use in place of Triphala powder, or else equal
quantity of Ash and Triphala. Add other items as usual.

THROAT
Aconite: Red, dry, constricted, numb, prickling, burning,

throat. Burning and very painful to swallow, better by warm
food, warm drinks and warm application. Diphtheria or
gangrene of throat.
Baptisia: Throat, tonsils and soft palate swollen, dark red and
offensive. Great difficulty in swallowing solid food and can
swallow only liquids.
Baryta Carb.: A great remedy to cure swollen and enlarged
tonsils or glands without surgery. Frequent attacks of cold,
sinus infections, throat infections, chest infections, cough,
breathlessness, asthma, bronchitis etc. due to tonsillitis. Stinging
pain in tonsils. Throat troubles due to overuse of voice. Better

Belladonna: Severe burning and throbbing pain in throat with

to swallow, but cannot swallow, tendency to choke, better by

Kali Mur.: Tonsils inflamed or enlarged. Greyish spots, patches
or ulcers in throat. Chronic throat infections. Diphtheria.
Hospital sore throat.
Kali Bich.: Accumulation of tough, sticky and stingy mucus in
throat, which does not detach and come out. All the time
feeling of phlegm in throat, which cannot be cleared. Uvula
swollen, throat red, inflamed and burning.
Lachesis: Sore throat worse on left side, swallowing saliva or
liquids. Septic conditions of throat parotid glands. Throat pain

Whenever there is infection or inflammation in throat, do

CHEST & LUNGS

Aconite: Cough comes on suddenly due to exposure to dry cold
wind. Constant, short, dry hacking cough, worse at night.
Anxiety, palpitation and pain in chest.
Antim. Tart.: Great rattling of mucus in child’s chest but very
little phlegm comes out when coughing. You can hear the sound
of rattling from a distance. Lungs are overloaded with lot of
mucus. Short and difficult breathing. Lot of suffocation as if
patient is going to die. Patient has to sit erect or lie down on
right side. No other position is comfortable to the patient.

Arsenic Alb.: A good remedy for lung troubles, Chest
congestion, Cough, Asthma, Bronchitis etc. Cannot lie down, air
passages constricted. Fears suffocation. Burning in chest. Cough
and wheezing worse after midnight. Phlegm does not come out
easily. Has to sit straight or lean backward. Worse winter &
rainy weather, consuming cold items, when exposed to smoke
and dust. Better by drinking warm coffee or sweet water, warm
room. Cough alternate dry and loose. Breathlessness due to
climbing of steps or walking on gradient. During mountain
climbing prevents and also relieves breathlessness and fatigue
due to very low oxygen level at high altitudes.
Belladonna: Tickling short dry cough, worse at night with
choking. Barking cough, whooping cough with pain in stomach
before the attack. Stitches in chest while coughing. Larynx very
painful. Moaning at every breath. Face turns red on coughing
with congestion of head. Loss of voice.
Bryonia: Dry hacking and spasmodic cough, shakes whole body,
very little expectoration. Has to hold the chest while coughing.
Worse at night, on entering warm room, after eating or drinking,
on taking deep breath. Splitting headache on coughing. Summer
cough.
Calcarea Carb.: Frequent attacks of cold, cough, fever,
tonsillitis, bronchitis and asthmatic attacks due to exposure to
cold weather, in children who sweat profusely, especially on
head and upper body. Wants fan air while sleeping. Tickling,
troublesome dry cough at night and free expectoration in the
morning. Suffocation with tightness, burning and soreness in
the chest, worse climbing steps or gradient, must sit. Desire for
fresh air.
Carbo Veg.: Wheezing and rattling of mucus. Cough with
burning in chest. Asthma in old people. Short supply of oxygen.
Wants lot of fan air. Neglected pneumonia. Deep rough voice.
Beginning of whooping cough. Breathlessness in old people due
to exertion or climbing gradient. Short supply of oxygen.
Chamomilla: Rattling of mucus in child’s chest. Irritable, dry
tickling cough; with suffocative tightness in chest.
Cina: Gagging cough in the morning. Whooping cough. Violent
recurring paroxysms with pain. Gurgling from throat to
stomach after coughing. Child afraid to speak or move for fear

of return of cough. After coughing moaning, anxious, gasps for
air and turns pale.
Conium: Continuous dry, hacking cough, caused by dry spot in
the larynx, itching in throat and chest, worse evening and night,
lying down, talking or laughing and during pregnancy. Phlegm
comes out only after prolonged coughing. Difficult breathing,
want of breath on least exercise. Constriction and pain in chest.
Ipecac.: An excellent remedy for severe chest congestion. Full of
phlegm in the chest but cannot be expelled. Violent and
continuous cough with breathlessness and suffocation. Bubbling
and rattling sounds in the chest. Asthma with breathlessness
and severe constriction in the chest. Repeated doses of Ipecac
gives quick relief. Whooping cough with bleeding from nose
and mouth. Bursting and crushing headache with nausea and
vomiting.
Kali Mur.: Severe cough, chest congestion, bronchitis, laryngitis,
croup, pneumonia, asthma etc., with thick white phlegm difficult
to expectorate. Cough short, acute and spasmodic like whooping
cough. Asthma due to indigestion after rich food or late food at
night.
Kali Bich.: Voice hoarse, worse, evening. Metallic, hacking
cough. Profuse, yellow and very sticky phlegm, coming out in
long, stringy, and very tenacious mass. Tickling in larynx. Cough
with metallic, brassy sound. Cough, with pain in sternum,
extending to shoulders, worse when undressing. Pain at
bifurcation of trachea on coughing, from mid-sternum to back.
Heart dilatation, especially from coexisting kidney lesion. Cold
feeling around heart.
Magnesia Phos.: Dry tickling or spasmodic cough, whooping
cough. Asthma with suffocation. Constricting pain around heart.
Spasmodic nervous palpitation.
Natrum Sulph. : Difficult breathing, during damp weather. Must
hold chest when coughing. Humid asthma, rattling in chest,
worse between 4 and 5 am. Cough, with thick ropy, greenish
expectoration, feels all gone in chest. Constant desire to take
deep, long breath. Asthma in children, as a constitutional
remedy. Delayed resolution in pneumonia. Springs up in bed
due to cough. Pain in lower chest while coughing and holds the
chest. Every fresh cold brings on attack of asthma.

Nux Vomica: Asthma with fullness of stomach especially after
late night dinner. Tight, dry, hacking cough, at times with blood.
Cough brings on bursting headache and bruised pain in
stomach. Violent cough in spasms throwing the patient down.
Pulsatilla: Dry cough in the evening and at night, must sit up in
bed for relief. Loose cough in the morning with expectoration of
bland thick, bitter, yellowish/ greenish of mucus. Pressure and
soreness in chest as if there is ulcer in chest.
Rhustox: Tickling sensation in chest. Dry teasing cough from
mid-night to morning. Bronchial cough in old people, worse on
awaking. Bleeding of bright red blood from lungs due to
overexertion.
Sanguinaria: Cough returns with every fresh cold. Spasmodic
cough after flu. Cough of gastric origin, relieved by eructation.
Cough with burning pain in chest.
Spongia: Severe unbearable cough better by warm drinks and
in open air.
Vanadium: It increases amount of oxygen and haemoglobin in
the body. Also increases and stimulates disease protection cells
(white cells). Destroys disease causing toxins, bacteria, virus.
We used extensively durig COVID time. It gave excellent results.
Wyethia: Dry hacking cough, caused by tickling of the epiglottis.
Burning sensation in bronchial tubes. Tendency to get hoarse on

Anacardium: It is a good remedy for gastric disorders. Peptic or

empty stomach and temporarily relieved by eating or drinking.
Empty feeling in stomach, relieved after eating. Breath stops on
eating or drinking. Swallows food and drinks hastily.
Antim Crud.: It is an excellent remedy for the digestive
problems of children and aged people. Thick white coated
tongue is the red line symptom of this drug. White stool in

children because of indigestion. Child vomits curdled milk after
a feed and refuses milk. Problems after feeding any type of
Tinned food to children. Problems after indiscriminate eating of
sundry items like Biscuits, Chocolates etc. by children and aged
people.
Antim Tart.: Nausea and vomiting in any position except lying
on right side.
Arnica Mont.: Dislocation of intestines due to fall or an
accident.
Arsenic Alb.: Nausea, retching and vomiting after eating or
drinking. Cannot bear the sight or smell of food. Hungry but has
aversion to food. Loss of appetite. Intense desire for ice water,
cold soft drinks, ice-cream which cause lot of problems. Acidity
and burning in food tract and stomach, better by gulping hot

Calcarea Carb.: Craving in children for all sorts of indigestible

belching. Frequent sour eructation, sour vomiting and sour
taste. Loss of appetite due to mental or physical exertion.
Cabo Veg.: Homoeo antacid. Gastric disorders of stomach and
abdomen. Slow and weak digestion. Food decomposes in
stomach. Lot of gas formation with eructation, heaviness,
fullness and sleepiness. Simplest food disagrees. Acidity with
burning and pain in stomach and food tract, temporary relief
from belching. Abdomen greatly distended and painful due to

Chelidonium: A prominent remedy for most of the liver related
problems. Jaundice with yellow colour of eyes, face, tongue,
skin, urine etc. Bitter taste in the mouth. Weakness and
tiredness. Pain below the right shoulder blade. Jaundice due to
obstructions in gall-bladder. Pain due to gall stones.
Enlargement of liver. General lethargy and indisposition to
make any effort. Nausea and vomiting better by drinking hot
water. Pain in stomach extending to back and right shoulder
blade, temporarily relieved by eating. Prefers hot food and
drinks. No appetite due to sluggish liver.
China: Lot of gas formation in stomach and abdomen which
causes bloated feeling, pain and distress, not relieved even after
passing gas either upward or downward. Worse after eating
and better by moving around or bending double. Vomiting of
undigested food. Slow digestion. Hungry without appetite.
Indigestion from fruits. Bad effects of tea. Hiccups. Liver and
spleen swollen and enlarged. Jaundice. Gall stone colic. Gas
pains after surgical operation, no relief by passing it.
Cina: Chief remedy for problems due to intestinal worms.
Hungry soon after eating, craves sweets and desire for different
eatables. Twisting pain around navel. Abdomen bloated and
hard. Vomiting and diarrhoea immediately after eating or
drinking.
Colocynthis: Severe and unbearable cutting pain in stomach or
abdomen, feels better when pressed tightly with hands or

bending forward. This pain can be due to indiscriminate eating
or during menses or caused by shame and anger. Children lying
on stomach and crying with pain need this remedy for relief.
Ferrum Phos.: Vomiting of undigested food or bright red blood.
Sour eructations. Wants stimulants. Aversion to meat and milk.
Ipecac.: Vomiting of whatever food is eaten. Vomiting of bile or
blood or mucus. Feels stomach is relaxed and hanging down.
Continuous hiccups. Good remedy for amoebic dysentery with
nausea, cutting and clutching pain around the navel.
Kali Mur.: Indigestion from oily, fatty or rich food and bakery
food. Vomiting of thick white mucus. Hunger disappears by
drinking water. Jaundice and other liver disorders. Abdominal
tenderness and swelling.
Lycopodium: Hungry, but eating few mouthful of food causes
fullness in stomach. Excessive eater. Eating increases his
hunger. In the middle of night, wakes up with hunger and must
eat something to go back to sleep. Wants hot food and he feels
better by that. Many of the indigestion problems especially
bloating of stomach and lower abdomen with excessive gas
formation immediately after eating even little food, rumbling
and gurgling in the stomach, sour belching, lot of burning, pain,
fullness not relieved by belching. Passes bad smelling flatus
(downward gas). Pain in lower abdomen shooting right to left.
Good remedy for all types of liver disorders and jaundice.
Magnesia Phos.: Hiccups with retching day and night. Thirst
for very cold water. Best remedy for spasmodic pains or cramps
in stomach or abdomen due to indigestion, accumulation of gas
and bloating of abdomen, or due to neuralgic spasms. Tongue is
clean. Pains relieved by warm application, warm drinks,
rubbing, pressure and bending double.
Nux Vomica: Bloating of stomach with pressure long time after
eating. Strong desire for spicy/chillies food, non-vegetarian
food, strong coffee, chewing/ smoking tobacco, alcohol etc.
which give warmth to the body. All this create lot of acidity, sour
and bitter belching, stomach pain, ulcers, loss of appetite,
constipation, etc.
Wants to vomit but cannot, nausea relieved only after induced
vomiting. Loves fats and tolerates them well. Excessive hunger

Physostigma: Great pain immediately after eating. Sensitive to

Podophyllum: Intense thirst for large quantities of cold water.
Liver region painful, better by rubbing. Movement of gas in
right side of abdomen with rumbling sounds.
Abdomen bloated, heat and emptiness. Sensation of weakness
and sinking. Comfortable by lying on stomach.
Pulsatilla: Aversion to water, meat, fat, pork, bread, butter,
milk, warm food or drinks, smoking. Desire for tonics, pungent
and highly seasoned food, fried stuff, cakes, ice creams,
chocolates, chips, noodles, pizzas, burgers, pulav, bengal gram
(chana dal) flour preparations such as bajji, vada, bonda,
pakoda, puran poli(bobbattu) etc. These items cause indigestion
which leads to various health problems. Bitter or diminished
taste of any food. Pain in stomach an hour after eating.
Vomiting of food eaten long before. Water brash with foul taste
in the morning. Lot of thick yellow phlegm comes out from
throat while brushing the teeth in the morning. It is a good
remedy for bad effects of Iron Tonics.
Bloated, painful, cutting, pulsation and loud rumbling. Pains
extend into groins. Weight as if from a stone. Feeling of
numbness. Colic with chillness in the evening.
Rhustox.: Great thirst with dry mouth and throat. Bitter taste.
Desire for milk. Lack of appetite with unquenchable thirst.
Abdomen bloated after eating. Pressure as if from a stone.
Violent pains in abdomen, relieved by lying on abdomen.
Drowsy feeling after eating.
Robinia: Nausea, sour belching, profuse vomiting of intensely
sour fluid. Severe pain, flatulence and burning in stomach worse
at night. Acidity is accompanied by frontal headache. Acidity in
children.
Symphytum: It is a very useful for healing old ulcers and gastric
or duodenal ulcers.
Thuja: Complete loss of appetite. Dislike for fresh meat and
potatoes. Belching with bad taste after fat food. Cutting pain in
stomach at above novel. Cannot eat onions. Sinking feeling in

Alumina: Rectum sore, dry, inflamed, bleeding. Itching and
burning at anus. Rectum inactive in infants, old people and in
women of very sedentary habit.
Apis Mel: Anus sore, swollen, stinging pain, profuse bleeding,
remains open, prolapse. Electric shocks in the rectum before
urge to pass stool. Better by cold application.
Arsenic Alb.: Painful, spasmodic protrusion of rectum
(prolapse). Tenesmus. Burning pain and pressure in rectum and
anus. Piles burn like fire, relieved by warm application. Skin
around anus excoriated (becomes like a wound).
Belladonna: Red, swollen, burning and painful muscles in
rectum and around anus. Spasmodic pain, stinging pain. Severe
backache with piles. Anal prolapse.
Calc. Fluor.: Itching of anus. Fissure of the anus, and intensely
sore crack near the lower end of the bowel. Bleeding piles.

Nux Momica: Constant uneasiness in rectum. Itching and

Paeonia (low potency): Biting, itching in anus, orifice swollen.
Burning in the anus after stool followed by internal chillness.
Fistula in anus. Painful ulcer, oozing offensive moisture on the
perineum. Piles, fissures, ulceration of the anus and perineum,
purple, covered with crusts. Terrible pains with and after each

Teucrium: Itching of anus, and constant irritation in the
evening in bed. Round worms, nightly restlessness. Crawling
in rectum after stool.
Thuja: Piles swollen, stitching and burning pains at anus, worse
sitting. Anus fissured, painful to touch with warts. Movements
as of something living, no pain.

STOOL
Aconite: Cholera-like stool with anxiety, restlessness and
collapse. Frequent small stool with constant urge. Watery
diarrhoea in children during summer with crying, restlessness
and sleeplessness.
Aesculus Hip.: Large, hard, dry stools. Great pain after passing
stools with prolapsed rectum. Itching caused by thread worms.
Aloe: Excellent remedy for diarrhoea with lot of jelly like
mucus. Diarrhoea becomes worse after eating or drinking,
standing or walking. Morning diarrhoea, summer diarrhoea.
Stool passes involuntarily almost unnoticed. Lumpy, watery
stool, jelly like stool with soreness in rectum after passing. Great
rumbling in abdomen just before stool. Lot of mucus with pain
in rectum after stool. In dysentery, there is severe unfinished
feeling and heat in the rectum. Severe constipation with the
peculiarity of passing solid stool (in large balls) involuntarily
and unnoticed.
Alumina: Constipation from inactive rectum in infants, old
people and women with sedentary habits. Painful urging long
before stool and then has to strain to pass the stool. Even soft
stool is passed with difficulty and great straining. Stool hard,

dry, knotty, no desire to pass. Rectum sore, dry, inflamed and
bleeding.
Antim Crud.: White stool in children. Constipation alternate
with loose motions in aged people. Hard lumps mixed with
watery discharge. Stools composed entirely of mucus. Slimy
flatulent stool. Severe constipation after eating junk food.
Antim Tart.: Good remedy for amoebic dysentery. Diarrhoea in
eruptive diseases.
Apis Mel.: Involuntary stool on every movement. Anus seems
open. Piles with stinging pain after confinement. Cannot
urinate without stool.
Arnica: Diarrhoea or dislocation of intestines after a fall or an
accident.
Arsenic Alb.: Cholera or gastroenteritis, Vomiting and purging
completely drains out the energy and develops extreme
weakness, which may lead to death. Dysentery or loose
motions worse at night. Passes all kinds of stool, watery to black
bloody and with horrible odour. It is a good drug to avoid
dehydration. Passes stool immediately after eating or drinking.
Belladonna: Passing of stool while passing urine.
Bryonia: Constipation, stools hard, dry, as if burnt, too large,
sometimes bleeding. No desire for stool. Motion once in 2 or 3
days. Diarrhoea with thirst for large quantities of cold water,
passes stool whenever he moves. No stool as long as lying
without movement.
Calcarea Carb.: Constipation, no desire to pass stool for days
together. Child happy with no stool for days together, but cries,
complains and discontented when there is diarrhoea.
It is reverse in adulthood, diarrhoea relieves and constipation
aggravates the discomfort of Calc. Carb adult. Stool sour
smelling. Beginning with stony hardness, then soft, then paste
like and at the end watery. Prolapse of anus. Burning and
stinging piles. Crawling and constriction in rectum. Passes sour
smelling gas downward.
Carbo Veg.: Painful diarrhoea of old people, frequent,
involuntary and cadaverous smelling stool, followed by burning
at anus.
Causticum: Stool expelled with much straining or only on
standing up.

Chamomilla: Distress, pain and diarrhoea in teething children.
Stool green, hot, watery, slimy like chopped spinach, offensive
like rotten eggs.
Chelidonium: Constipation, stools hard, round balls, like
sheep's dung, bright yellow, pasty, clay-coloured, stools float on
water, alternation of diarrhoea and constipation. Burning and
itching of anus.
Cina: Stool with small pieces of white mucus. Pinching pain
before stool. Itching at anus due to worms.
Colocynthis: It is one of the best drugs for dysentery (blood and
mucus) in the first stage. Dysenteric stool renewed each time
by least food or drink. Severe pain relieved immediately after
stool. Jelly like stool.
Croton Tig.: Copious watery stool, with much urging and
sudden expulsion of stools like a shot, all at once forcibly
flushed out, immediately after eating or drinking. Gurgling in
the intestines.
Dulcamara: Diarrhoea when the weather suddenly becomes
cold in summer or during damp cold weather. Green, watery,
slimy, bloody stool.
Gelsemium: Diarrhoea from emotional excitement, anxiety,
fright, bad or good news. Stool painless or involuntary. Partial
paralysis of rectum muscles.
Ipecac: Good remedy for amoebic dysentery with nausea,
cutting and clutching pain around the navel. Indigestion, loose
motions or dysentery after eating bakery items. Stool greenish
and frothy.
Lycopodium: Urge for stool, hard, difficult, small, incomplete
feeling and no satisfaction after passing stool. Piles very painful
to touch and aching.
Magnesia Phos.: Sudden stools immediately after breakfast.
Dysentery associated with sharp gripping pain in abdomen.
Piles with severe cutting and darting pain, which may cause
even fainting.
Merc. Sol.: Dysentery. Stools whitish grey or greenish, bloody
and slimy mucus with pain and tenesmus of rectum. Never gets
the feeling of stool passed completely. Cutting pain in abdomen
before and after stools. Intestinal worms.
Nux Vomica: Constipation with ineffectual urge for stools. Has

Arsenic Alb.: Urine scanty, burning and involuntary. Albumin,
Pus and blood in the urine. A good drug to reduce dropsical
condition (accumulation of water in the body) by creating
excessive urination. Retention of urine as if bladder is
paralysed. Loss of power to urinate.
Belladonna: Bedwetting in children, especially in boys. Acute
urinary infections. Blood with urine. Urine retention in new-
born, when Aconite fails.
Calcarea Carb.: Urine with white sediments, blood with sour
smell. Irritation in bladder, bedwetting in children, who sweat
(in head) profusely while sleeping.
Cantharis: An excellent remedy for burning urination. Urine
passed drop by drop with constant urge to urinate. Intolerable
burning and cutting pain before, during and after urination.
(Give Cantharis-30 every 15 minutes till severe pain is relieved).
Causticum: Involuntary urination while coughing, laughing,
sneezing. Bedwetting during sleep. Urine retention after labour
or surgery. Paralysis of bladder.
Chelidonium: Profuse, foaming, yellow urine like beer, dark,
turbid.
Colocynthis: Pain in abdomen on urinating. During stool
intense burning along the urethra. Discharge like fresh white of
egg from urethra.
Equisetum: Severe, dull pain with a feeling of fullness in
bladder, not relieved by urinating. Frequent urge with severe
pain at the end of urination. Urine flows drop by drop. Sharp,
burning, cutting pains in the urethra when passing urine.

Sensations as if drop of urine rolling continuously along the

to urinate in newly married women, after coition, during
pregnancy, after difficult labor. After urination, urging as if
the bladder was not empty.
Thuja: Urethra swollen inflamed. Urinary stream split and
small. Sensation of trickling or severe cutting after urinating.
Frequent urination with pains. Desire sudden and urgent, but
cannot be controlled, has to rush. Paralysis of sphincter muscles.
All urinary problems after taking any type of vaccine.
Uva Ursi: Urinary symptoms most important. Cystitis, with
bloody urine. Frequent urging, with severe spasms of bladder,
burning and tearing pain. Urine contains blood, pus, and much
tenacious mucus, with clots in large masses. Involuntary, green

NECK, BACK, HANDS, LEGS & ALL JOINTS

Aconite: Sudden backache due to exposure to dry cold wind.
Acute attack of gout with pain and bright red swelling in joints
of feet.
Actea Spicata: Tearing pains in loins. Rheumatic pains in small
joints, wrist, fingers, ankles, toes. Swelling of joints from slight
fatigue. Wrist swollen, red, worse any motion. Paralytic
weakness in the hands. Lame feeling in arms. Pain in knee.
Sudden weakness after talking or eating. Pains worse from
touch and motion.
Antim Tart.: Violent pain in sacro-lumbar region. Sensation of
heavy weight at the coccyx dragging downward all the time.
Slightest effort to move may cause vomiting, cold and damp
sweat.
Arnica Mont: Gout and rheumatism with severe pain and great

fear of being touched or approached. Severe pain in back and
limbs, lame, sore, bruised feeling throughout body as if beaten
or fallen from a height. Feels even soft foam bed is too hard.
It relieves quickly tiredness, exhaustion, muscular pain or any
bad effects after over exertion of any organ after cycling,
physical exercise, playing, gardening, mountain climbing,
swimming, dancing, singing, any type of physical strain. If
Arnica is not helping, use Bryonia (if better by rest) or
Rhus. Tox. (if better by movement) .
Arsenic Alb.: Stiffness of the back ascends from tail end of the
spine to upper spine. Weakness in waist. Burning pains in back,
better by warm application. Twitching and lot of weakness in
arms and legs. Cramps in calf muscles. Tingling in fingers. Nails
turn blue. Ulcers on finger tips with burning pain. Burning in
hands and feet, better warm application. Restless feet, sciatica,
better movement and hot application. Paralysis with
contraction of limbs.
Belladonna: Stiff neck. Swelling of glands of neck. Lumbago
with pain in hips and thighs. Shooting pain in limbs. Joints
swollen, red and shining.
Bellis Perennis: Excellent remedy for spondylitis, slipped disc
and twisted or sprained ankle. Sprains and soreness of joints
with great muscular soreness and bruised feeling. Wrist
contracted as from elastic band around the joint. Gout with
muscular soreness.
Excellent for farm workers, labourers, house maids, gardeners
etc. who work continuously by stooping forward and suffer
prolonged bruised pain in the spinal muscles. Stiffness of spine
called railway spine. All sorts of bad effects due to cold bath or
exposure to cold wind or drinking cold drinks or eating ice/ice-
cream when body is hot after physical exertion.
Bryonia: All joints swollen, red, hot, with stitching and tearing
pains, aching muscles, painful stiffness in neck, in small of back
and knees. Worse even by least movement. Better by lying
without movement, cold application.
Calcarea Fluor.: Chronic pain in back, knees, joints and heels,
worse on beginning to move and better on continued motion.
Severe pain in heals as soon as get up and initial walking. Hard
tumours. Rachitic (rickets related) enlargement of femur in

infants. Pain lower part of back, with burning. Ganglia or
tumour at wrist. Gouty enlargements of the joints of the fingers.
Bone growth on fingers. Better by warm application.
Carboveg.: Burning pain in bones and limbs. Cold from knees
down. Cramps in soles, feet numb and sweaty.
Chamomilla: Insupportable pain in loins and hips. Violent
rheumatic pains drive him out of bed, compelled to walk about,
at night. Burning of soles at night. Pains with numbness.
Colocynthis: Best remedy for sciatic pain, more so on left side.
Pain better by pressure and heat. Give frequent doses for
immediate relief.
Eupatorium Perf.: Severe pains in arms, wrist and bones of
extremities. Pain in back and soreness of whole body. Dropsical
swellings. Swelling of left big toe. Gouty soreness and inflamed
joints associated with headache.
Formica Rufa.: An excellent medicine for arthritis, gout and
rheumatism. Stiffness and pain in all joints. Pain in hips. Feeling
of muscles strained and torn from their attachment. Weakness
hands and legs. Worse from any movement, cold, cold washing,
dampness, before a snowstorm. Better from warm application,
rest, pressure, rubbing, after midnight. It is similar to Bryonia.
In Bryonia pains are worse from any movement and better from
cold application.
Gelsemium: Dull, heavy pain. Complete relaxation of the whole
muscular system. Tiredness or muscles feel bruised. Every little
exertion causes fatigue. Pain in neck, especially upper sterno-
cleido muscles (the most superficial and largest muscle in the
front portion of the neck). Dull aching in lumbar and sacral
region, passing upward. Pain in muscles of back, hips, and lower
extremities, mostly deep-seated. Loss of power of muscular
control in limbs. Cramp in muscles of forearm. Professional
neurosis. Writer’s cramp. Excessive trembling and weakness of
all limbs. Hysterical convulsions. Fatigue after slightest exercise.
Guiacum: An excellent medicine for arthritis, gout and
rheumatism. Stiffness and pain in all joints. Rheumatic pain in
shoulders, arms and hands. Growing pains. Pricking in buttocks.
Sciatica and lumbago. Gouty tearing, with contractions.
Immovable stiffness. Ankle pain extending up the leg, causing
lameness. Joints swollen, painful, and intolerant of pressure,

cannot bear heat. Stinging pain in limbs. Arthritic lancinations
followed by contraction of limbs. A feeling of heat in the affected
limbs. Worse, from motion, heat, cold wet weather, touch, from
6 pm to 4 am. Better from Cold application, yawning and
stretching.
Hypericum: Finger tips contain lot of sentient or sensory
nerves. When finger tips are crushed in between doors, cycle
chain, it causes severe pain though the injury is small. Repeated
doses relieve the pain quickly. There will be horrible pain when
there is injury to the spinal cord, coccyx (tail end of the spine)
due to fall or sudden jerk or lumbar puncture or injections. It
corrects the ‘slip disc’ without traction.
Lachnantes: A remedy for torticollis, rheumatic symptoms
about neck. Drawn over to one side in sore throat. Rheumatism
of the neck. Stiffness of neck. Pain in nape, as if dislocated.
Ledum: Excellent remedy for gout and rheumatism. Pain and
stiffness begin in feet and travel upward or shifting from joint to
joint upwardly. Pain in all joints especially small joints. Ankles
swollen and sprained easily. Ball of great toe swollen. Painful
soles, can hardly step on them. Pain in left shoulder and right
hip. Shocking and shooting pains after an electric shock. All the
pains are relieved by keeping painful parts in ice cold water or
applying cold bandage.
Magnesia Phos.: Cramps of writers, players, carpenters, piano
or violin players or computer operators. Weakness in arms and
hands. Finger-tips stiff and numb. Involuntary shaking of
hands. Twitching, convulsions and epileptic attacks. Cramps in
calf muscles. Sciatica with violent pains. Acute rheumatic pains.
General muscular weakness.
Nux Vomica: Backache in lumbar. Burning and pain in spine
while sleeping, worse 3 to 4 a.m. Must sit up to turn in bed.
Cannot bear dry cold wind, feels ice cold chillness in palms and
feet, has to wear gloves and socks. Sensation of sudden loss of
power in hands and legs in the morning. Arms and legs become
numb, feels paralysed. Drags the feet while walking. Crackling in
knees on moving. Cramps in calves.
Phytolacca Decandra.: Shooting pain in right shoulder, with
stiffness and inability to raise arm. Pains fly like electric shocks,
shooting, lancinating, shifting rapidly. Pain in underside of

thighs. Syphilitic sciatica. Aching of heels, relieved by elevating
feet. Pains like shocks. Pain in legs, patient dreads to get up. Feet
puffed; pain in ankles and feet. Neuralgia in toes. Aching pains in
lumbar region, pains streaking up and down spine into sacrum.
Weakness and dull pain in region of kidneys. Back stiff,
especially in morning on rising and during damp weather.
Pulsatilla: Shifting/Wandering pains in hands, legs, hip-joints
or anywhere in the body. Joints inflamed, red & swollen.
Numbness in legs when standing long duration. Severe boring
pain in heels when hanging the legs down. Shooting pain in the
neck and complete back.
Radium Brom: Aching in back of neck. Pain and lameness in
cervical vertebræ, worse dropping head forward, better
standing, or sitting erect. Lumbar and sacral backache, pain
appears to be in bone, continued motion relieves. Backache
between shoulders and lumbar-sacral region, better after
walking. Severe pain in all the limbs, joints, especially in knee
and ankles, sharp pains in shoulders, arms, hands and fingers.
Legs, arms and neck feel hard and brittle, as though they would
break on moving. Arms feel heavy. Cracking in shoulder. Pain in
toes, calves, hip-joint, popliteal spaces. Muscles of legs and hips
sore. Arthritis, aching pains, worse at night. Dermatitis of the
fingers. Trophic changes in the finger nails.
Better, open air, continued motion, hot bath, lying down,
pressure. Worse, while getting up.
Rhustox.: Excellent remedy for sprains and sudden catch due to
lifting or carrying weights, over-stretching hands and legs,
improper posture, playing, false step, over exertion, injuries etc.
Tennis elbow. Stiffness and pain in neck (cervical spondylitis),
shoulders, back, hips, thighs, knees, all other joints and muscles.
Crackling sound in joints. Cramps in calf muscles. Sciatica pains
especially left sided. Loss of power in forearms and fingers.
Crawling sensation in the tips of fingers and tingling in feet.
Numbness in hands and legs. Paralysis in elders or in children
or in animals due to sleeping or playing or working on damp
floor or suddenly getting wet when body is hot. Facial paralysis.

Ruta G.: Excellent remedy for the problems of people
continuously working on computers or watching TV or reading
or involved in eye strain. Backache worse in the morning before
rising, better from pressure and lying on back. Bruised feeling in
spine and limbs. Sciatic pain from back down to hips and thighs
worse lying down at night. Lameness after sprains in wrists and
ankles. Sore and painful knees. Great pain in bones of feet and
ankles. Weakness in hips and thighs. Pain in thighs when
stretching limbs. Injured, bruised tendons and ligaments.
Good remedy for painful ganglion.
Symphytum: Long standing non-union fractures of bones.
Severe pain in bones especially at joints and at healed bone

Thuja: When walking, feel legs are made of wood or glass, and
would break easily. Tips of fingers swollen, red. Muscular
twitching, weakness and trembling. Cracking in joints. Pain in

SKIN
Aconite: Skin red, hot, swollen, dry and burning. Rash-like
measles.
Alumina: Skin chapped and dry tottery (various eruptive skin
diseases, as herpes, eczema, and impetigo). Brittle nails. Brittle
skin on fingers. Intolerable itching of skin when getting warm in
bed. Must scratch until it bleeds, then becomes painful. Better in
cool open air, cold application and damp weather.
Anacardium: Intense itching, eczema, with mental irritability,
vesicular eruption, swelling, urticarial. Lichen planus (An
inflammatory condition of the skin and mucous membranes.
Lichen planus occurs when the immune system mistakenly
attacks cells of the skin or mucous membranes), neurotic
eczema. Warts on hands. Ulcer formation on forearm. Worse
from application of hot water.

Antim Crud.: Cracks in the corners of mouth and painful to
open the mouth. Big size pimples on face leaving pits and scars.
Eczema due to indigestion. It is a very good remedy for hard and
painful corns, hard and thick layers of dead skin on soles of feet

shape. Dry gangrene.
Antim Tart.: It helps to clear bluish-red scars or pitting caused
by pimples or pustules. Good for chicken-pox when eruptions

Arnica Mont.: Symmetrical distribution of group of small
pimples on face or small boils anywhere in the body. Purple
patches of the skin due to bleeding under the skin (Ecchymosis).
Bed sores.
Apis Mel.: Red rash on whole body with itching and stinging,
better by cold application. Sudden puffing up of whole body.
Boils with burning and stinging pain. Swellings after bites,
soreness, stinging pain, burning, sensitive, better from cold
application, worse from warmth and warm application.
Arsenic Alb.: Excellent remedy for all sorts of skin diseases like
rash, psoriasis, eczema, gangrene, boils, ulcers, bed sores with
horrible itching, burning, skin dry, rough, scaly. Ulcers extend in
width (not in depth) and discharge profuse watery or bloody or
bad smelling pus. Dissecting and poisonous wounds, anthrax
poison & gangrene etc. Good remedy for diabetic ulcers and
gangrene. Worse from cold application and scratching. Better
from warmth and warm application.
Belladonna: Measles with red rash and chicken-pox with red
blisters. Dry, hot skin, flushed face and fever. It helps to bring
out eruptions and to control fever. Itching and red rash on skin
due to contact with woollen cloth or caterpillar insect (found on
drumstick trees).
Berberis Aquifollium: Acne or pimple on scalp, face, neck,
chest and back. Ugly marks due to pimples. Skin dry, rough,
scaly. Psoriasis or dry eczema with severe itching. Hardness of
glands. Tumour of breast with pain. Cream or ointment of this
remedy is very useful for external use. Clears ugly marks,
improves the complexion and smoothness of skin.
Carbo. Veg.: Skin blue, cold, ecchymosed, marbled. Varicose
ulcers. Carbuncles, bed sores, old age gangrene begin in toes.

Cantharis: Herpes or erysipelas on skin with blisters causing
burning and great restlessness. Good remedy for new shoe or

Fagopyrum: All sorts of skin problems with severe itching.
Worse in afternoon, from sunlight, scratching. Better from cold

Ferrum Phos.: Initial stage of whitlow, boils and red eruptions
on skin. Better from cold application.
Gelsemium: Measles with severe cold. It helps in bringing out
eruptions. Skin hot, dry and itching. Rash all over the body with
itching. Erysipelas. Eruptions with livid spots go from one part
to another. Scarlet fever with stupor and flushed face.
Graphites: Skin rough, hard, persistent dryness of portions of
skin unaffected by eczema. Early stage of keloid and fibroma.
Pimples and acne. Rawness in bends of limbs, groins, neck,
behind ears. Unhealthy skin, every little injury forms pus.
Eruptions, ulcers discharge thin, sticky fluid. Swelling and
hardness of glands. Cracks in nipples, mouth, between toes,
anus. Erysipelas marked by invasion of tissues under the skin

Gun Powder : Blood poisoning, septic conditions, wound

Hydrocotyle : Dry eruptions. Great thickening of skin and

Syphilitic affections. Acne. Leprosy. Elephantiasis (filariasis).
Lupus, when there is no ulceration. Of great use in ulceration of
womb. Excess sweating. Pains of cervical cancer.
Ledum: Prevents the tendency to bites of mosquitoes. Red
pimples on forehead and cheeks with stinging pain. Skin
eruptions and ulcers due to bites insects and animals. Better by
ice cold application.
Merc. Sol.: Skin constantly moist. Persistent dryness of the skin
contra indicates this remedy. Excessive odorous sticky sweat,
worse at night. General tendency to sweat easily, but patient is
not relieved thereby. Vesicular and pustular eruptions. Ulcers,
irregular in shape, edges undefined. Pimples around the main
eruption. Itching, worse from warmth of bed. Thick layers of
white or yellow scales on a baby's scalp, yellowish-brown
crusts, considerable pus formation. Glands swell every time
patient takes cold. Swollen inflamed lymph node in the armpit
or groin. Inflammation of one or both testicles.
Myristica Sebi.: A remedy of great anti-septic powers. Excellent
to ripen and drain out the pus quickly from boils, carbuncles,
whitlows and anal fistula. Severe pain and swelling at the root
of the finger nails.
Mezerium: Eczema, intolerable itching, chilliness with itching,
worse in bed. Eruptions ulcerate and form thick scabs, purulent
matter oozes under the scabs.
Nux Vomica: Pimples, skin rash, eruptions after spicy food,
adulterated food, intoxicants and medicines. Body burning hot,
especially on face, yet cannot un-cover, feels chilly.
Petroleum: Severe itching of skin at night. Chilblains, moist,
itch and burn. Bed-sores. Skin very dry, constricted, very
sensitive, rough and cracked, leathery. Herpes. Tendency to
form pus on lightest scratch. Inflammation of skin, usually in
warm, moist areas, such as the groin or between skin folds.
Psoriasis. Thick, greenish crusts, burning and itching, redness,
raw, cracks bleed easily. Eczema. Chips, cracks or fissures
occurring especially around the mouth and at other mucus
junctions. Tips of fingers rough, cracked, fissured. Worse in

dampness and winter. Better from warm air and dry weather.
Pulsatilla: Itching and rash on skin after rich food or contact
with woollen cloth. Lot of pimples from puberty. Swelling of
glands. All sorts of skin diseases like psoriasis, eczema, with

formation in ulcers and pimples. Varicose veins. Better in open
air and cold washing.
Radium Brom.: Small pimples. Rash with itching, burning,
swelling and redness. Decay of tissues and ulceration. Itching
all over body, burning of skin, as if afire. Epithelioma (abnormal
growth or tumour). Better by warm application.
Rhustox: Skin red, swollen with severe itching. Red rash with
itching, burning. Eczema with itching, burning with tendency to
scale formation. Blisters with pus formation. An excellent
remedy for herpes. All discomfort in skin problems temporarily
relieved by warm application. Best preventive and curative for
chicken-pox.
Sulphur: Skin dry, scaly, unhealthy, every little injury
suppurates. Freckles. Itching, burning, worse on scratching and
washing. Pimply eruption, pustules, rhagades, hang-nails.
Excoriation, especially in folds. Feeling of a band around bones.
Skin affections after local medication. Itching from warmth,
evening, often recurs in spring time, in damp weather. Worse
from warmth in bed, washing/application of water.
Tarentula Cub.: Abscesses, boils, carbuncles, felons with
burning, stinging pain and purple colour. Malignant ulcers and
gangrene.
Thuja: Polypi, tubercles, warts, epithelioma, naevi, carbuncles,
ulcers, especially in ano-genital region. Freckles and blotches.
Perspiration sweetish and strong. Dry skin, with brown spots.
Herpetic eruptions. Tearing pains in glands. Glandular
enlargement. Nails crippled, brittle and soft. Eruptions only on

FEVER
Fever is not a disease. It is an indication of either emotional or
physical disturbance due to various internal or external causes.
Treatment should address the basic cause. Temperature rises in
the body to destroy the toxins of the body. If the toxins are
destroyed by the right remedy, automatically temperature will
become normal.
Aconite: Fever after fear or shock or exposure to dry cold wind

or very hot weather. Sudden onset of fever with chilliness,
throbbing pulse, great restlessness, thirst for large quantities of
cold water. Everything tastes bitter except water. Discomfort
relieved by sweating.
Not to be used for treatment of prolonged fevers viz., Typhoid,
Malaria etc.
Antim Crud.: Fever after long exposure to heat of stove or heat
of sun. Ladies get headache, body pains and fever after cooking
for more duration especially during festivals or family functions.
Fever after taking bath in cold water, especially in flowing water
in canals and rivers. Fever with severe constipation after
consuming tinned or packed food. Tongue is fully coated white.
Antim Tart.: Fever with lot of mucus in lungs. Short and
difficult breathing. Lot of suffocation as if going to die. Patient
has to sit erect or lie down on right side. No other position is
comfortable to the patient. Great drowsiness on falling asleep.
Giddiness alternates with drowsiness. Like electric shock on
falling asleep. Tremendous desire to sleep. Desire for apples,
fruits and acids generally. Thirst for cold water, little quantity
and frequently.
Arsenic Alb.: High temperature, worse after midnight. Thirst
for sips of warm water at frequent intervals. Marked periodicity.
Septic, malarial, typhoid fevers, Swine Flu (H1N1 Fever) and flu
or viral fevers. Lot of weakness and exhaustion with great
restlessness. Very good remedy for dengue fever and
destruction of blood cells or platelets. Fever and other
complications after consuming fridge items, cool drinks, ice or
ice-cream, soft drinks, custards, food items with chemical
colours or tasting powder or preservatives, spoiled or decayed
food, meat, fish, contaminated water, after exposure to polluted
atmosphere or floods or garbage or sewerage gases or
chemical fumes etc. Fever with severe vomiting. Warm things
are not vomited
Arnica Mont.: After accidents or injuries or physical exertion
fever, soreness of body, sleepless and restless. Horror dreams
of death and mutilated bodies, thereby fear and anxiety.
Belladonna: Controls temperature in high fever state with
racing temperature and prevents convulsions. No thirst with
fever. It can cure fever, only if its symptoms are present.

Otherwise, after temperature is controlled with Bell., treat with
indicating remedy according to symptoms/cause.
Baptisia: Low fevers, septic conditions of blood, malarial
poisoning, extreme prostration, indescribable sick feeling, great
muscular soreness. All secretions are offensive - breath, stool,
urine, sweat etc. Epidemic influenza (flu).
Best preventive for Typhoid. Good remedy for dengue. In the
treatment of typhoid fever, Typhus fevers, Shipboard fever and
adynamic (loss of strength) fevers. In fevers, heat all over with
occasional chills. Chill with rheumatic pains and soreness all
over the body. Thinks he is double or broken into pieces and
tosses in the bed trying to get pieces together. Falls asleep
while answering a question. Arsenic Alb. or Bryonia may be
needed to complete the favourable reaction.
Bryonia: It cures almost all kinds of Fevers, especially
rheumatic, typhoid, bilious, gastric, remittent, chikungunya,
dengue and influenza (flu) etc. with dryness of lips, mouth,
throat, body and excessive thirst for large quantity of water at
longer intervals. Comfortable by lying like log of wood without
any movement.
Cantharis: Fever with frequent and burning urination and
urinary track infection (UTI).
Carbo Veg.: In fevers coldness of body with thirst. Hectic fever
with exhausting sweats. Very bad state of Typhoid fevers, septic
fever and blood poisoning. An excellent remedy for all sorts of
problems like weakness, cough, bronchitis, indigestion, burning
in soles of feet etc after Flu or influenza. When body
temperature drops below normal repeated doses of
Carbo Veg. - 6 or 30 helps in bringing it back to normal.
Chelidonium: Fever with Jaundice. Jaundice with yellow colour
of eyes, face, tongue, skin, urine etc. Bitter taste in the mouth.
Weakness and tiredness. Nausea and vomiting better by
drinking hot water. Pain in stomach extending to back and right
shoulder blade. Pain in stomach, eating relieves temporarily.
Prefers hot food and drinks. No appetite due to sluggish liver.
China: Great remedy for intermittent (malarial) fever in all
stages. Thirst before and after the chill and during the sweat.
Bad effects after malarial fever. Great weakness and trembling
with numb sensation; averse to exercise; entire nervous system

extremely sensitive. Dropsical swellings. Hyper sensitiveness of
skin to touch.
Cina: High fever with clean tongue. In fever face is cold and
hands warm. Fever due to worms. Much hunger, colicky pains,
chilliness with thirst.
Eupatorium Perf.: An excellent drug for prevention and cure
of Influenza (flu), Malaria, Chikungunya, Dengue and rheumatic
fevers with unbearable pain in bones and soreness in muscles.
It is known as "Bone-Set". In fevers sweat relieves all symptoms
except headache. Chill between 7 and 9 AM preceded by great
thirst. Great soreness of muscles and pain in bones. Nausea
and vomiting of bile. Feels that chill is coming and he cannot
drink enough water.
Ferrum Phos.: First stage of all fevers. Sweat 4 to 6 AM and
chill every day at 1 PM. It cures first stage of all fevers and
inflammations, pains, bleeding of bright red blood from any
orifice, wounds, contusions, sprains etc. Eyes red, inflamed with
burning. Fever due to heat of the Sun.
Gelsemium: No thirst in fevers. Wave-like chills begin in spine
and shake complete body. Wants to be held. Muscular soreness,
great weakness and violent headache. Fever with stupor,
dizziness, faintness and flushed face. Measles with fever and
severe cold. It helps in bringing out eruptions. Skin hot, dry and
itching. Rash all over the body with itching.
Hypericum: Fever after injuries to fingers, coccyx and nerves.
Influenzinum: It is a nosode and excellent preventive and also
curative for all sorts of epidemic form of Flu (Influenza)
including Swine Flu. When other well indicated remedies fail to
improve condition, it should be given as intercurrent remedy.
Ipecac.: Fever with nausea and vomiting. Severe chest
congestion. Violent and continuous cough with breathlessness
and suffocation. Bubbling and rattling sounds in the chest.
Fever with indigestion, loose motions or dysentery after eating
bakery items. Stool greenish and frothy.
Magnesia Phos.: Fever with chills and cramps worse evening,
after dinner. Chills run up and down the back with shivering.
Nux Moschata: Fever with chillness and heat, no thirst,
extreme dryness of mouth, mucous membranes and skin and
severe drowsiness. Feels chill. Wants to cover warmly. Marked

tendency to fainting fits.
Nux Vomica: In fever dry heat of the body. Cold stage
predominates. Whole body is hot, but feels lot of Chillness,
severe shivering, finger nails turn blue. Uncovering or every
movement increases chillness. So, covers fully. Sour sweat only
on one side of the body.
Podophyllum: Fever with diarrhoea, stools green, watery like
rice water, jelly like mucus, bad smelling, profuse, gushing and
painless. Intense thirst for large quantities of cold water.
Pulsatilla: In fevers heat in some parts of body and coldness in
other parts. Chillness even in warm room without thirst. Chilly
with pains in spots, worse in the evening. Intolerable burning
heat at night. Very high temperature without thirst or sweat or
restlessness. Fever and other complications after consuming oil
fried food, cakes, bakery food, ice cream, noodles, chips,
overripe fruits, food items during birthday parties and all sorts
of functions.
Rhustox: In fever chill followed by heat with inclination to
stretch the body and limbs. White coated tongue with triangular
red tip. Body pains or pain in back and joints worse at rest. Lot
of physical restlessness. Thirst for more water. Sometimes
loose motions. An excellent remedy for Typhoid, rheumatic
fevers, flu, Chikungunya. During heat red rash on skin.
In prolonged fevers and not coming to control use Carica
Papaya Mother Tincture and Tinospora Cordifolia Mother
Tincture alternatively every 3 or 4 hours, each time 5 to 10
drops mixed with 3 or 4 teaspoons of water. Both Mother
inctures work wonderful. Use another 3 to 5 day after fever is
cleared. It will clear weakness and tiredness.
Use BSC 8 - CCF as mentioned in Very Useful Bio Salts
Combinations. Take 1 or 2 or 3 hourly one teaspoon water.

MEN
Aconite: Crawling and stinging in penis. Testicles swollen, hard
and painful. Frequent erections and emissions. Painful
erections. No proper erection due to anxiety and fear.
Aesculus Hip.: Discharge of prostatic fluid while passing stools.
Agnus Castus: Impotency due to depression and nerves
weakness. No desire and no erection. Parts cold and relaxed.

every 15 minutes. The pains will increase and there will be

give Gelsemium – 200 and Caulophyllum – 200 alternatively
every 15 minutes. This will help to promote Labour Pains and

Calcarea Carb.: Confused, cannot recollect his thoughts or what
he has spoken. He answers wrongly. He forgets what he has

Carbo Veg.: Breathlessness in old people due to exertion or
climbing gradient. Short supply of oxygen. Slow and weak

Causticum: Restlessness at night, with tearing pains in joints
and bones, and faint-like sinking of strength. This weakness
progresses until gradually appearing paralysis. Local paralysis,
vocal cords, muscles of swallowing, of tongue, eyelids, face,
bladder and extremities. Emaciation due to disease, worry, etc,
and of long standing.
China: Lot of gas formation in stomach and abdomen which
causes bloated feeling, pain and distress, not relieved even after
passing gas either upward or downward. Worse after eating
and better by moving around or bending double.
Gelsemium: Ailments from anxiety or fear about any difficult
ordeal ahead, for example: attending interview or examination,
appearing in public, performing on stage, meeting important
people or attending official meetings or arranging of domestic
functions etc. may cause diarrhoea, frequent urination,
trembling, fever, headache, low or high BP, asthmatic attacks,
loss of voice, fainting etc. It acts well on nervous system. General
weakness, dizziness, drowsiness, dullness and trembling. Lack
of muscular co-ordination, muscles refuse to obey. Paralysis of
single parts, eyes, tongue, throat, neck, hands, legs etc.
Ignatia: An excellent medicine for all the health problems that
started after experiencing strong emotional problems as a result
of broken relationship, loss of a loved person or pet animal or
article or property or job, failure in love or examination or
interview, shock, grief, fright, punishment, disappointment
due to any cause etc.
Ipecac: Severe nausea vomiting. Vomiting of whatever food is
eaten, bile or blood or mucus. Continuous hiccups. Severe chest
congestion. Full of phlegm in the chest but cannot be expelled.
Violent and continuous cough with breathlessness, suffocation,
rattling sounds in the chest. asthma with severe constriction in
the chest. Repeated doses of Ipecac gives quick relief. Whooping
cough with bleeding from nose and mouth. Bursting and
crushing headache with nausea and vomiting. Amoebic

navel. Indigestion, loose motions or dysentery after eating
bakery items. Stool greenish and frothy. Bleeding of bright red
blood from any orifice of the body. Frequent doses of Ipecac 6 or

Lachesis: All sorts of troubles due to hormonal disturbance
during menopause. Hot flashes, excessive sweating, palpitation,
irritability, headache, high BP etc. worse by tight clothing, warm
room and warm weather.
Lycopodium: Hungry, but eating few mouthful of food causes
fullness in stomach. Bloating of stomach and lower abdomen
with excessive gas after eating even little food, rumbling and
passes bad smelling gas.
Natrum Mur: Chief remedy to prevent and cure problems of
summer heat and Sun-stroke. Good remedy for emotional
people. Wants to be alone to cry. Does not like to be consoled.
Consolation makes them worse.
Nux Vom.: After eating spicy/non-vegetarian food, consuming
alcoholic drinks, strain of journey, loss of sleep, mental stress,
exposure to cold breeze or hot weather, after severe anger,
irritability etc. Cold, Cough, Fever, head ache, body pains,
nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loose motions, constipation,
urinary infections, skin rash with or without itching, giddiness.
Podophyllum: Drinking bad/contaminated water, especially
during journey. Severe watery loose motions with or without
stomach pain. Diarrhoea, stools green, watery like rice water,
jelly like mucus, bad smelling, profuse, gushing and painless.
Long-standing diarrhoea, early morning diarrhoea, teething

Prolapse of rectum before or while passing stool. Internal or

Sabal Serr. Mother Tincture: Constant desire to pass urine at

Spigelia: Excellent remedy for heart problems, left sided
neurological problems, left sided headache, intense and violent
pains. Left sided headache involving left temple, forehead, eye,
cheek and teeth. Worse bending, touch from morning to
evening. Pain throbbing and violent. Pain as if band around
head. Severe pain in and around eyes extending deep into

Thuja Occi.: Excellent remedy for various health problems after

clean boiled and cooled water) on burns.
All sorts of Injuries: Blunt injuries, cut injuries, lacerated

VERY USEFUL MOTHER TINCTURES COMBINATIONS

Advised Mother Tincture are to be mixed in equal quantity.
After mixing, use 2 to 4 months, daily 3 or 4 times, each time 5 to
10 drops with 4 teaspoons water. For children up to 10 years of
age 5 drops and all others 10 drops each time. Strongly advised
not to use for more than 4 months. If required give break for 1

 HOMOEO MEDICINES FOR EXTERNAL USE
Homoeopathy offers excellent remedies for external use. They
are available in Mother Tincture/External Tincture form. They
are available in cream/ointment form also. Cream/ointment is
very convenient to store for long time, to carry easily and to
apply. Whereas tincture gets spilled or evaporated and it
causes stiffness of the skin where it is applied. But tincture is
advisable for fast healing. Tinctures are to be dissolved in
water/oil before applying.
1. AESCULUS HIP.: Relieves pain and stops bleeding while
passing stool due to piles at rectum. After passing stool,
apply Aesculus Hip ointment with finger after washing and
wiping the anus with clean, dry, soft cotton cloth.
2. ARNICA MONT.: Relieves pain caused by blunt injuries
due to blows or contusions (where skin is not cut). Mix one
part of Arnica external tincture in 20 parts of coconut oil or
gingelly oil and shake well. Gently massage on blunt injury.
Arnica ointment is available in Homoeo Shops.
3. CALENDULA OFFICINALIS: It stops bleeding quickly after
injuries or surgeries or tooth extraction. Prevents pus
formation and septic conditions, heals the wound quickly. One
part of Mother Tincture to be mixed in 20 to 30 parts of clean
water to prepare solution for external application to open
injuries. Calendula ointment is also available.
4. CANTHARIS: An excellent remedy for all types of burn
injuries. Burns due to fire, acids, chemicals, fumes, crackers,
silencer burns or burns due to any hot substance. Burns in
mouth by sipping hot coffee/tea, etc. One part of Mother
Tincture to be mixed in 20 to 30 parts of clean water to prepare
solution. Wet the cotton with cantharis solution and apply on
burn injuries. Immediately after burn injury take Cantharis 30
after every 15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses to get quick relief from
severe burning pain. Cantharis ointment is also available.
5. CINERARIA MARTIMA: An excellent eye drops for
cataract, corneal opacities and blurred vision. To prepare
Cineraria eye drops take clean, boiled, cooled and filtered water
10 ml in a clean dropper bottle and add 10 drops of Cineraria
mother tincture. Put these drops into both eyes daily 2 or 3
times for long duration. It causes slight burning in eyes for few

seconds. If no burning, add few more drops of mother tincture.
If burning is more, then add water to dilute it. After every 15
days prepare fresh solution. Readymade Cineraria eye drops
are available at Homoeo shops.
6. ECHINACEA: It is an excellent remedy for wounds and
ulcers due to septic conditions, boils, blood poisoning,
gangrene formation, bed sores, injuries turn septic
wounds, gonorrhoeal, syphilitic and cancerous ulcers,
snake bites etc.
Good remedy for cleaning and dressing injuries, wounds and
ulcers. Prevents pus formation and keeps the wound healthy.
It prevents infection and helps in curing.
For application on the parts where the skin is delicate like
genitals, mouth, eyes, nose etc., one part of tincture should be
mixed in 40 parts of water (preferably warm). Otherwise one
part of tincture should be mixed in 20 to 30 parts of water
(preferably warm). Echinacea ointment is also available.

7. EUPHRASIA: An excellent Eye drops for all types of

infections or irritation in eyes. Madras eye (conjunctivitis).
Eyes are sticky due to discharge of mucus.
Mix one part of tincture in 40 parts of clean lukewarm water to
make eye drops. This can be used 3 or 6 times daily. It causes
burning in eyes for a few seconds. Prepare fresh solution once
in 3 or 4 days. Readymade Euphrasia eye drops available in
Homoeo Shop.
8. HAMAMELIS: Stops bleeding while passing stool due to
piles at rectum. Every time after stool is passed, Hamamelis
ointment can be applied with fingers after washing and wiping
the anus with clean, dry, soft cotton cloth.
9. HYPERICUM: Excellent Remedy for Injuries to spine,
coccyx and nerves.Crushed finger tips. Immediately after
injury, take Hypericum 30 after every 15 minutes, 4 to 6 doses
to get quick relief from severe pain. Apply Hpericum Mother
Tincture or Ointment on crushed finger immediately.
10. MULLEIN OIL: Excellent ear drops for any ear problems.
Earache, discharge from ears, earwax, itching in ears. Put 4 to 6
drops into affected ear and plug with clean cotton. Do not mix
water or any other medium. Do not use Mullein Mother

Tincture. Add 15 ml of Mullein Mother Tincture with 100 ml of
Gingelly oil. Use this oil as ear drops daily at bed time for
infected ears. Readymade Mullein oil ear drops available in
Homoeo Shop.
11. PLANTAGO: Excellent remedy for toothache due to
decayed tooth. It relieves pain within few seconds. Swelling
and pain in gums. Wet the cotton with tincture and with the
help of small stick and press this cotton against painful tooth or
insert into the cavity of the decayed painful tooth. Saliva can be
spit out or swallowed. Tincture causes momentary burning to
cheek if touched, but no problem. Do not mix with water or any
other medium.
12. EAR OIL: Use this oil as ear drops daily at bed time for
infected and pus discharging ears. It cures ulcers and wounds in
ears very nicely. Use for dryness of ears also. Mix one part of
Echinacea and Calendula mother tinctures together with 10
parts of Gingelly oil.
13. PAIN OIL: You can prepare excellent Pain Oil for all types
muscular or joints pains. To prepare Pain Oil, take each 10
ml mother tincture of 1. Angustura Vera, 2. Formica Rufa, 3.
Gaultheria Procumbens, 4. Phytolacca Decandra, 5. Rhus
Tox. and mix in one litre of Gingelly oil (unrefined oil). Out of
this 5 mother tincture Rhustox is compulsory. In other 4
tinctures even if 1 or 2 are not available, there is no problem.
All the mother tinctures together 50 m for one litre oil.
Shake well before use. Apply the oil on painful part and gently
massage whenever there is pain. It relieves the pain quickly. If
you like, give warm fomentation after one hour. It helps to give
quick relief from pain due to sprains, muscular pains/cramps,
pain in all joints due to arthritis and rheumatism. It is a
wonderful oil for quick Pain relief.
14. SKIN OIL: You can prepare excellent Skin Oil for all types
Skin diseases. To prepare Skin Oil, take each 15 ml mother
tincture of 1. Berberis Aquifollium, 2. Calendula,
3. Echinacea, 4. Hydrocotyle. Mix in 700 ml Coconut oil
and 350 ml Castor oil. Shake it well before use. Apply the oil on
affected skin and massage gently daily 2 or 3 times. It gives lot
of comfort to the skin. It helps to give quick relief from itching
or burning.

Note: Do not apply this oil if there is discharge from the
affected skin or skin is wet.
13. PILES OIL: You can prepare excellent oil for burning,
painful, bleeding piles. To prepare Piles Oil, take each 15 ml
mother tincture of 1. Aesculus Hip., 2. Aloe, 3. Hamamelis, 4.
Ratanhia Mix in 500 ml Coconut oil and 500 ml Castor oil.
Shake it well before use. After passing stool wash the anus with
warm/cold/ice cold water whichever gives more comfort. Wipe
with clean, soft cotton cloth (preferably old banian). Take piles
oil in a small bowl. Dip the finger in the oil and gently apply on
piles. It is better to apply before going to bed also. It relieves
burning or pain quickly and stops bleeding.

Method to use for better results: Take 2 or 3 tablets of each

Bio salt in the combination, total about 15 tablets and dissolve in
100 ml of room temp. drinking water (do not use chlorinated
water) in a stainless steel glass or tea cup. Cover it with a lid. Take
one teaspoon water each time, daily 3 or 4 times. Keep the water
in the mouth for 30 seconds to one minute and then swallow. In
case of acute suffering take after every 1 or 2 or 3 hours one
teaspoon water. In case of severe pain or breathing difficulty, take
after every 15 minutes. This can be used when using medicines of
Homoeopathy, Allopathy, Ayurvedha etc. Take 20 to 30 minutes
before or after taking other medicines.

Our body contains these Biochemical salts. Deficiency of few Bio

salts will cause certain discomfort or sickness. According to the
type of discomfort or sickness, if we supply these salts to our
body, the deficiency will be resolved. There by the discomfort or
sickness will be will be resolved. That means these Biochemical

salts are micro nutrients to our body cells and tissues. That is
why these salts are called Cell Salts or Tissue salts.

We use regularly at our Forum to all the patients along with

Homoeo medicines. The results are very good. Bio salts can be
used independently also without other medicines. One can make
changes in above combinations according to the discomfort or
suffering of the patient. We can make any number of
combinations as per the need by using 12 Bio salts in different
potencies.

Modalities of Suffering
Modalities means what are the natural conditions that increase
or reduce the intensity of suffering without use of medicines. It is
most important to understand the Modalities of suffering,
along with the symptoms of problem or suffering.
Proble is worse in winter/summer/rainy? What food or drinks
make the problem worse? What time suffering is more?

Whether warm/cold/ice cold application gives more relief in

pain/itching/burning? Check with each application for 10 to
15 minutes when pain/itching/burning is more. Do not check
with all the three one after other. Check with one item on one
day. Most of the people without testing/checking properly, tell
that warm water bath gives more comfort. When they take bath
their suffering may not be more and they only feel freshness.
One has to check when problem is more. Then only right
medicine can be selected. Wrong information leads to selection
of wrong Remedy. The treatment will be a failure.

State of Mind or Emotions or worries of the patient also most

important while selecting the Remedy, especially in chronic (long
term) cases. In acute (short term or few days) cases consider the
Modalities of suffering. If possible emotions also.
