WHAT IS AN
OPINION?

An opinion is what someone thinks or believes about something.


It is not a fact, and people may have different opinions.
ASKING FOR OPINIONS

Common Expressions:
What do you think about…?
How do you feel about…?
Do you have any thoughts on…?
What's your opinion on…?
Do you agree with…?
GIVING OPINIONS

Common Expressions:
I think…
In my opinion…
I believe that…
I feel that…
From my point of view…
AGREEING AND
DISAGREEING
Agreeing:
I agree with you.
That’s true.
You’re right.

Disagreeing:
I don’t think so.
I’m not sure about that.
I disagree with you.
EXAMPLE
