Adjective of Quantity
যে সকল Adjective দ্বারা যকান Noun এর পবরমান বনর্ েশ কর্র তার্ক Adjective of Quality
ব্র্ল।
যেমনঃ much, little, few, a little, some, enough, whole, half
Adjective of Number: যে Adjective ব্ার্কয যকান Noun এর সংখ্যা ক্রম ব্া পেো বনর্ শে কর্র
তার্ক Adjective of Number ব্র্ল।
Adjective of Number বিন্ প্রকযরঃ
1. Cardinal Number: - One, Two, Three
2. Ordinal Number: - First, Second, Third
3. Multiplicative Number: - Single, Double, Treble,
Quadruple
Pronominal Adjective: ককযন্ Pronoun যখন্ Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি ঐ Noun িমর্ে িথ্্ প্রদযন্
কর্র এিাং adjective এর কযজ িম্পযদন্ িখন্ িযর্ক Pronominal Adjective ির্ে।
(i) Possessive Adjective: Possessive Adjective িযধযরণি মযবেকযন্য কিযঝযর্ি ি্িহৃি হয়।
কয িকে Personal Pronoun (my, our, your, his, her, its) Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি কিই Noun
িমর্ে িথ্্ কদয় এিাং িযর িযর্থ্ িমে স্থযপন্ কর্র িযর্দরর্ক Possessive Adjective ির্ে।
কযমন্ঃ This is my book; I know her address
(ii) Demonstrative Adjective: কয িকে Demonstrative Pronoun (this, that,
these, those) Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি িযর্ক modify কর্র িযর্দরর্ক Demonstrative Adjective
ির্ে।
কযমন্ঃ I know this man
I saw that man yesterday
Distributive Adjective: কয িকে Distributive pronoun (each, every, either,
neither) Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি িযর্ক modify কর্র িযর্দরর্ক Distributive Adjective ির্ে।
Example: Each boy was present
There are two pens but
Neither pen will
Interrogative Adjective: ককযন্ Interrogative pronoun যখন্ Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি এর্ক
বির্েবিি কর্র এিাং কিই িযর্থ্ প্রশ্নর্িযধক অবিব্রবি প্রকযে কর্র িযর্ক Interrogative Adjective ির্ে।
Example: What colour do you like most?
Which man is your uncle?
Indefinite Adjective: ককযন্ Indefinite pronoun যখন্ Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি এর্ক বির্েবিি
কর্র িখন্ িযর্ক Indefinite Adjective ির্ে।
কযমন্ঃ All men must die
Proper Adjective: Proper Noun কথ্র্ক কয Adjective তিবর হর্য় Noun এর পূ র্িে ির্ি ঐ
Noun িমর্ে িথ্্ কদয় িযর্ক proper Adjective ির্ে।
