Notes
This pattern uses American Standard Terms.
You can easily adjust this pattern by measuring your cup
where you want the cozy to be and then chaining until you
reach that length. Be sure your chain is an odd number.
At the end of your first row, you will slip stitch to the first
HHDC to form a circle. You will work the rest of the pattern
in the round.
You will be placing your SC into the HHDC from the
previous round & your HHDC will be placed in the SC from
the previous round.
When working into your foundation chain, I prefer to work in
the back bump.
Special Stitch
Herringbone Half Double Crochet (HHDC): Yarn over, insert
your hook into the next stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, pull
that loop through the next loop on your hook (kind of like a slip
stitch). This will leave you with two loops on your hook. Yarn
over, and pull through both loops.
