Topic 6: Talk about the way you learn a foreign language.
1. When did you start learning that language?
2. What do you find is the most difficult in learning that language?
3. Do you have any techniques for learning that language?
4. Why do you learn that language?
5. What is your advice for someone who wants to learn that language?
I started learning English when I was in primary school. At first, it was just basic vocabulary and
simple sentences, but as I progressed, I realized that mastering a language requires a lot of
practice and dedication.
For me, the most difficult part of learning English is pronunciation. Some words are pronounced
differently from how they are written, and there are many silent letters. Also, grammar rules can
sometimes be confusing, especially tenses and prepositions.
To improve my English, I use several techniques. I watch movies and listen to songs in English
to get familiar with natural speech. I also try to speak with friends and practice writing essays or
short paragraphs. Reading books and articles helps me expand my vocabulary and understand
sentence structures better.
I learn English because it is an international language that allows me to communicate with
people from different countries. It is also important for my studies and future career, as many
jobs require good English skills.
For someone who wants to learn English, my advice is to practice every day and not be afraid of
making mistakes. Speaking with native speakers, using apps like Duolingo, and watching
English content can make learning more enjoyable. Most importantly, stay patient and
motivated!
Topic 10: Talk about one of your good habits.
1. What is your good habit?
2. How often do you do it?
3. When did you start this habit?
4. Where do you often do it?
5. Is there any advice for other people? What are they?
One of my beneficial habits is engaging in regular physical exercise. I exercise five times a
week, dedicating about an hour to each session. I began this routine during my university years,
approximately six years ago, to improve my overall health and manage stress. I usually work out
at a local gym, but on pleasant days, I prefer jogging in nearby parks to enjoy the fresh air. For
those looking to incorporate regular exercise into their lives, start with manageable goals, such as
short daily walks or light stretching. Consistency is key; even modest, regular activity can lead to
significant health benefits over time. Find an activity you enjoy, as this increases the likelihood
of maintaining the habit. Remember, it's about progress, not perfection.
