OTA Commands via GPRS

These commands are used to configure device directly from server. Commands are of 3 types i.e., SET,
GET, or CLR. Server will send these commands as required, only when connection is established between
device and server.

ID Command Function

+S*R:RST#0;

To restart with erasing all stored logs

+S*R:RST#1;
14 +S*R:FOTA#<file_name>;
This command is used to update firmware in device.

If FOTA failed then device will send OT alert with fail

response. And if FOTA success then firmware will be
updated. (approx time taken is 5 min after
command)

After firmware update all device packets will reflect

the updated firmware version.

Example: +S*R:FOTA#GB140.bin;
