Rectangular Coordinate System in Space

This document describes the rectangular coordinate system in three-dimensional space, which uses three perpendicular planes that intersect at a common point called the origin, and whose intersections form the X, Y, and Z axes, allowing any point in space to be located using three numbers called coordinates.

Rectangular coordinate system in space.

In Analytical Geometry
Various coordinate systems are used in space.

The most used is the rectangular one that we will describe and discuss in this.
article.

Let's consider three mutually perpendicular planes that intersect at the

common point 0.

How the point in space will be located with reference to these elements,
the planes are called coordinate planes, the lines of intersection of these
coordinate planes and the origin point of the coordinate system
rectangular.

The coordinate axes XX, YY, ZZ are called, respectively, the X axis, the Y axis
These axes are directed lines, whose positive direction is indicated in each.
