Father

with homework, and always gives us good advice. My mom

Grandfather

Descripve Text

A Descriptive Text is to describe a specific person, object, place, or


event in detail. When the focus is on a person, the goal is to give a
detailed account that helps the reader form a clear mental image of that
person. The examples are like family members.

Generic Structure of Descriptive Text about person

1. Identification: This section introduces the person, providing basic


information about who they are, their origin, and their role or
significance..

2. Description: This section goes into more detail about the person. It
may include:

4. Personality or Characteristics: What are the key traits or qualities
that define this person?

Identification
My father is a very important person in our family. His name is Budi. He is the

Appearance

looks serious, but he always smiles when he is with us.

Personality
My father is very kind and always helps me. He works hard every day, but he
still spends time with me and my family. He loves us very much.

Role and Achievements


My father works as an engineer. He helps our family by working hard and
making sure we have everything we need. I am happy and proud to have him as

Simple Present Tense

Definition of Simple Present Tense:


The Simple Present Tense is used to express actions or events that happen
regularly, are general truths, or are currently happening. This tense is often used to
talk about habits, routines, or facts.

Sentence Patterns in Simple Present Tense:

1. Affirmative Sentences:

Structure: Subject + Verb 1 (Base form) / Verb + s/es (for third person singular)

Example 1:

o My father works in an office every day.


o My brother studies at school in the morning.

Example 2:

o She cooks dinner for our family every evening.
