General Description

The FCNID-1GN-1GS industrial grade Gigabit Ethernet


media converter converts Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-
TX signal to 1000Base-FX signal and vice versa. It supports a
small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver for fiber
interface. This allows the transmission distance of the data
signals to be extended by any multi-source agreement (MSA)
compliant pluggable 1.25G SFP transceiver selected. With its
rugged design, the FCNID-1GN-1GS converter can be
deployed in harsh environments with operating temperatures
that range from -40˚C to 85˚C. In addition, the FCNID-1GN-
1GS converter supports the Link Fault Pass-through (LFPT)
function in which the connected links are monitored to detect
and troubleshoot broken links to ensure the connectivity of
the network.
