II. RATIONALE
Agusan del Sur Elementary School remains steadfast and resilient as it
embraces the challenges brought about educational transition through the
implementation of the K-12 Basic Education Curriculum. The school relentlessly keeps
abreast with the trends of time locally and globally and embraces a learner-centered
culture that promotes fairness, respect and care to encourage learning.
Agusan del Sur Elementary School always intensifies its resourceful in
establishing a safe, secure and fair learning environment to enhance learning through
consistent implementation of policies, guidelines and procedures as standards to
observe and follow. To ensure that every learner is given equal rights and protections,
the school will conduct General Orientation School Based on Anti-bullying and
Child Protection Policy on September 22, 2023 at Sta. Cruz ES Multi-Purpose Hall.
III. OBJECTIVES
1. Acquire information on the School Based Child Protection and Anti-Bullying
Policy.
2. Develop awareness and appreciation on the different programs and services
extended to the pupils to prevent them from any forms of abused.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL BASED ANTI-BULLYING AND
CHILD PROTECTION POLICY 2024
The Sta. Cruz Faculty and Staff, Police Officers are conducted the General
Orientation School Based on Anti-bullying and Child Protection Policy on
February 14, 2024 at Sta. Cruz ES Multi-Purpose Hall. The participants were pupils
from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The orientation starts at 8:A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Ma’am Fiel Hazel A. Halina, the Master of Ceremony of the activity, formally
opened the Program with a prayer “Still” by Hillsong thru audio-video presentation
and to be followed by the singing of our National Anthem thru audio-video
presentation.
The first speaker headed by Ma. Floriza S. Maradia, School Principal discuss the
School Based Child Protection and Anti-Bullying Policies where it promotes zero-
tolerance policy for any act child abuse, discrimination against children , exploitation,
violence against children committed in schools and bullying cases.
The Anti-Bullying Policy was discussed by Ma’am Arlene A. Marcos, Master Teacher
I . She emphasized the bullying involves a student(bully) against another
student(bullied) using severe or repeated used of written, verbal or electronic
expression that may affect his/her physical or emotional state. She warned the
students by showing a video clip.
The School Policies and Guidelines particularly on the Minor and Major Violations
which was elaborated by Ma’am Fiel Hazel A. Halina, Teacher II. She stated that if the
student committed these violation they will be subject disciplinary actions from the
school authority.
In addition, given that the school promotes awareness campaign, Patrol Man
Joseph Butch M. Sain emphasizes and discuss the Traffic Rules and Regulations. For
the Barkada Kontra Druga, Patrol Man Gelpar Salga discuss its objectives to advocate
and serve as models to young people to live their lives in a productive and healthy
way away from the evil affects of Drugs.
Sta. Cruz ES teaching force are very grateful for the successful Symposium on Anti-
bullying and Child Protection Policy.
