1.The household water supply in your locality is muddy and not fit for drinking. Despite several
complaint letters to the civic authorities, the problem is still unresolved. Write a letter to the editor of a
local daily, in about 120 words, expressing your concern about the situation and suggesting measures to
resolve the problem and drawing the attention of the concerned authorities. You are Somil / Soumya of

2. Q2:Write a letter to the editor of a local daily, in about 120 words, expressing your concern about the
heavy school bags and suggesting measures to resolve the problem and drawing the attention of the

3. You have realized the necessity of education and financialindependence of women for their families,
society and in turnfor the nation. Write a letter to the Editor, ‘The National Times’highlighting your ideas

course, fee, duration and other requirements.

9. As the head of the music department, write a letter to Delhi Music House placing an order for some
musical instruments like Tabla, Harmonium, Guitar, and Flute. You are Ankita/Ajay of HPS School,
Aliganj, Hyderabad. Format the order with the name of the instrument, the number of items required,
and the preferred brand in a table form.

10. Write a letter placing an order for books to a local bookstore. Include the necessary details such as
the titles of the books, quantity required, mode of payment, and delivery instructions.
