Read the following passage about the problem-based learning approach and mark the letter A, B, C or D on your
answer sheet to indicate the best answer to each of the following questionsfrom 23 to 30.
Enhancing Students’ Competency-Based Question Handling Skills through PBL: Action Research
This research was done by two teachers in Bhutan to see if problem-based learning (PBL) could help grade ten
students answer competency-based questions better in geography. These types of questions are hard for many students
because they require critical thinking and problem-solving.
The study took place at Yebilaptsa Middle Secondary School with 48 students divided into two groups. One group
used PBL (experimental group), and the other group used traditional teaching (control group). Both groups took a test
before and after the lessons. The researchers also interviewed students in the PBL group. The pre-test results showed
both groups had similar knowledge. After three weeks, the students in the PBL group improved more in the post-test
than the control group. The students said PBL helped them understand better, work in teams, and remember lessons
longer. They liked discussing and solving real-life problems with classmates.
The researchers concluded that PBL is an effective method for improving students’ skills in answering
complex questions. They recommend using PBL more in schools. However, because the study was small and done in
only one school, more research is needed.
They also suggest training teachers to use PBL well. With proper support, PBL can make learning more interesting
and prepare students better for the future.

Read the following passage about the manners in cyberspace and mark the letter A, B, C or D on your answer sheet to
indicate the best answer to each of the following questions from 31 to 40.
With the rapid development of information technology, social networks have become an essential part of modern life.
[I] People use them daily to communicate, share experiences, and access information. [II] As their popularity grows, the
concept of “manners in cyberspace” has attracted increasing attention. [III] This term refers to how individuals behave
Trang 3/4 - Mã đề thi 0905
and interact online, including the way they post content, comment, and engage with others on platforms like Facebook,
Instagram, or Zalo. [IV]
Behavioral culture encompasses the actions, attitudes, and communication styles people display in both real life and
virtual environments. On social networks, these behaviors include how users respond to posts, express opinions, and
engage in discussions. In Vietnam, surveys show that a large number of citizens, from various age groups, use at least
one social media platform. While many users interact respectfully and constructively, others display negative behaviors,
such as cyberbullying, offensive language, or even spreading misinformation and scams, which can damage their online
reputation and relationships.
These problems often result from users' limited awareness and impulsive reactions. Some people act carelessly
online, targeting individuals or groups without considering the consequences. In addition, social media platforms
sometimes fail to effectively moderate harmful content, and legal regulations related to online behavior remain weak. A
tragic example occurred in China in 2021, when a young woman took her life during a livestream after expressing her
mental health struggles. Shockingly, many viewers encouraged her in the comments instead of helping her. This shows
how dangerous uncivilized behavior online can be.
To foster a more respectful online culture, social network providers must implement stricter content control and
promote responsible usage. However, real change begins with individuals. Each user should be aware of their digital
footprint and live up to the expectations of respectful online behavior. Although the internet is a virtual space, its
effects on mental health, relationships, and society are real. Using social networks wisely and respectfully will help build
a safer and more positive digital environment for everyone.
