that interest you.

The form should give you the opportunity to demonstrate the textual conventions and stylistic features
which best suit the context, audience and purpose of your text.

Your text may be persuasive, narrative, reflective, informative or another text type. It is not a response
to a particular text, but may extend or elaborate on ideas and issues and imitate stylistic features which
you have encountered.

Please complete the following information about your text:

Text Type: narrative

Context: post apocalypse monster filled world. The main character is a notorious killer who as a
punishment was cryogenically frozen for thousands of years. With an intense desire to kill, and no laws
limiting what he can do, he takes extreme measures to satisfy his desire and his hunger.

Purpose: focuses heavily on primal survivalist feelings and thought processes. Looks at how the main
character observes and takes down his prey.

Audience: fans of horror, post-apocalypse media. fans of sci fi. People who enjoy things like the series
Berserk and the thing (1982) would possibly enjoy this.

Conventions/Stylistic Features: very heavily leans into dark and gritty prose. Little use of dialogue lots
of descriptive writing takes focus of landscape environments and the monsters in the text.
