Reading&Writing
The CAMPUS is a three-level skills course for elementary to upper-intermediate learners of
English.
The CAMPUS is a course written specifically for students who need to develop their academic
English, and each unit is theme-based covering two skills; reading and writing. The target
grammatical structures and theme-based vocabulary are also taught to enable students to
carry out the tasks at the end of each unit.

COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES
Comparative Adjectives
We use comparative adjectives when we compare two people, animals, things or places.
We use than to make the comparison, but when we don’t write the second person,
animal, thing or place, we don’t use than.
Superlative Adjectives
We use superlative adjectives when we compare one person, animal, thing or place with
several of the same kind.
For most one-syllable and some two syllable cheap / cheaper / the cheapest
adjectives, we add -er /-est.
When one syllable adjectives end in -e, add -r / -st. large / larger / the largest
When one syllable adjectives end in one vowel and hot / hotter / the hottest
one consonant, we double the consonant.
