smelling compound S (molecular formula, C3H6O2). On addition of NaOH to C,
it also gives R and water. S on treatment with NaOH solution gives back R and
A.

Q37. A brain is displayed at the Allen Institute for Brain Science. The human brain 4
is a 3-pound (1.4-kilogram) mass of jelly-like fats and tissues—yet it's the 1+1+2
most complex of all known living structures The human brain is more complex
than any other known structure in the universe. This spongy mass of fat and
protein is made up of two overarching types of cells—called glia and neuron.
Neurons are notable for their branch-like projections called axons and
dendrites, which gather and transmit electrochemical signals. Different types
of glial cells provide physical protection to neurons and help keep them, and
the brain, healthy. Together, this complex network of cells gives rise to every
aspect of our shared humanity. We could not breathe, play, love, or remember
without the brain.

When the image is formed on screen, the image is real and when the image
does not form on screen, the image is virtual. When the two reflected rays
meet actually, the image is real and when they appear to meet, the image is
virtual.
A concave mirror always forms a real and inverted image for different
positions of the object. But if the object is placed between the focus and pole,
the image formed is virtual and erect.
A convex mirror always forms a virtual, erect and diminished image. A
concave mirror is used as doctor's head mirror to focus light on body parts
like eyes, ears, nose etc., to be examined because it can form erect and
magnified image of the object. The convex mirror is used as a rear view
mirrors in automobiles because it can form an small and erect image of an
object.

almost identical chemical characteristics in which all the members can be

the series differ by -CH2 group or 14 mass unit in their molecular formulae is
called a homologous series. For example, all the members of alcohol family
can be represented by the general formula, CnH2n+1 OH where, n may have the
