1. NOUN – it is an identity of anything. (visible things or the things that can be felt only)

Identification – Reply of ‘what’

PRONOUN : It is a substitute for a noun or a noun phrase whose referents are
named or already understood in the context.
Such as : I, we, you, he, she, it, they, me, us, them, him, her, one, etc.

Functions :
1. It can be used as a subject of verb.
2. It can be used as an object of verb.
3. It can be used as an object of preposition.
4. It can be used as a complement of subject

For instance :
He scolded his child.
They helped her.

Adjective : it describes a noun or a pronoun.
Identification : Reply of ‘ what kind of’ or ‘which one’
e.g.
The boy is wearing a cotton shirt.

Functions :
1. it cannot become a subject or an object of verb.
2. It can become a complement of the subject.

Reply of how often : we usually go there on Sunday.
