hiya! this is a tutorial I thought about making after seeing @blackmojitos ask about this so I
figured I’d jump on and write one up. fair warning that this is v picture and text heavy because I
wanted to make it as clear as possible!!

note: I have noticed that download times are a bit longer with this method but compared to
sitting there and downloading each individual file, I don’t find this to be a huge problem.

tools needed:
jdownloader2 (available for windows, mac, and linux)

link klipper (chrome extension) OR link gopher (firefox extension)

step 1.
download jdownloader2 and one of the browser extensions linked above.

step 2.
install jdownloader2 and on the Select File Associations screen leave all the default selections
ticked!
this is up to personal preference. I personally don’t like having any icons on my desktop so I
unticked it.

NOTE: the next two screens will be asking to install software (winzip + spyhunter), make sure
you untick them!
click decline!
click download without SpyHunter 5!

if a message pops up saying it can’t connect to the internet, it’s most likely because the server is
down so try again in a few hours time.

step 3.
install one of the link extensions I mentioned above. I’m using link klipper since I use Chrome.

step 4a - link klipper.

using link klipper. once it’s installed, there are two ways to extract the links.

method one: holding the ctrl/command key down as well as your left mouse button, drag your
mouse over the links you want to download. this method works best for when there’s only a
small amount of links.
method two: click the link klipper icon in your toolbar. this will open a popup. click on options.

it’ll take you to the page in the picture below.

click the first option and change the extension to TXT.

in order to only extract the links you want, you have to type this into the second bar.

https://simfileshare.net/download/*

this means it will ONLY download links following that format. once you’ve saved that, go back to
the page you want to download and click extract all links.

this way is best for a large amount of links (enough to make you have to scroll down your page
for example).

step 4b - link gopher.

once you’ve installed link gopher, click the icon in your toolbar and open it up.

in order to extract the links we want, you will have to click the second option extract all links by
filter. it’ll open up a new tab where you’ll input the following

https://simfileshare.net/download/*
after hitting OK the tab will refresh and show you all of the links.

keep this tab open til we’re ready to copy the links!

step 5.
open up jdownloader and click settings and scroll down in the left column til you see
packagizer. click and make sure you untick the third setting predefined rule: create
sub-directory by packagename. this is so that the single files don’t download into individual
folders.

when you’re ready, copy your links from either the new tab or your text file.

it should automatically add them to your linkgrabber page like this.

but if it doesn’t, just right click and click add new links.

step 6.
at this point you can go ahead and grab more links and add them to the queue but if you’re ready
to download, all you have to is click the play button in the top left and it’ll move everything to the
download page. I know that it looks like everything is in an individual folder but provided you
followed the step above and unticked that box, when it downloads it won’t be in individual
folders.
step 7.
once everything’s finished downloading, you should find them in your downloads folder. in
jdownloader press ctrl/command a to select all of the links. right click and click delete. a
message will popup asking if you’re sure you want to delete the links.

make sure you have keep all downloaded files - just remove links from jdownloader selected
before hitting delete!

and that’s it!! if you’re having any trouble pls just shoot me a message and I’ll try and help!!
