Study Visa

- Visa application form

- Recent passport-sized photograph

- Valid travel document with an expiry date at least three months beyond the requested
visa’s expiry

- Proof of accommodation in Italy: hotel reservation, declaration of hospitality

- Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay in Italy, not less than the amount specified
in Table A attached to the Directive of the Ministry of the Interior dated 1 March 2000

- Health insurance, if the foreigner is not entitled to healthcare in Italy under agreements
or conventions with their country

- Enrollment or pre-enrollment in the course to be attended in Italy

- Declaration of Value or CIMEA certificate, if required by the institution providing the


course

Study Visa – Single University Course

- Visa application form

- Recent passport-sized photograph

- Valid travel document with an expiry date at least three months beyond the requested
visa’s expiry

- Proof of accommodation in Italy: hotel reservation, declaration of hospitality

- Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay in Italy, not less than €6,947.33 for the first
academic year. This can be demonstrated through: personal or parental financial guarantees,
or those of Italian or foreign entities or citizens legally residing in Italy, or provided by reputable
Italian institutions or entities, including universities, local governments, or foreign institutions
and entities deemed reliable by the Italian diplomatic representation

- Enrollment (in accordance with MUR regulations) to be finalized through the Universitaly
portal (https://www.universitaly.it) for one or more single university courses or internships at
Italian state or accredited private universities authorized to issue legally recognized
qualifications. Visa requirements and procedures are specified in an annual provision issued
by MUR in agreement with MAECI and the Ministry of the Interior
- Health insurance, if the foreigner is not entitled to healthcare in Italy under agreements
or conventions with their country

- Declaration of Value or CIMEA certificate, if required by the university

Study Visa – University Enrollment

- Visa application form

- Recent passport-sized photograph

- Valid travel document with an expiry date at least three months beyond the requested
visa’s expiry

- Proof of adequate accommodation in Italy

- Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay in Italy, amounting to €6,947.33 for the first
academic year. This can be demonstrated through: personal or parental financial guarantees,
or those of Italian or foreign entities or citizens legally residing in Italy, or provided by reputable
Italian institutions or entities, including universities, local governments, or foreign institutions
and entities deemed reliable by the Italian diplomatic representation

- Enrollment or pre-enrollment in the course to be attended in Italy. For courses offered by


Italian state or accredited private universities authorized to issue legally recognized
qualifications, pre-enrollment must be completed via the Universitaly portal
(https://www.universitaly.it)
