When can I make a reservation?

To reserve a place in the Student House, you need to create an
MRU student e-mail account. Once your details have been
entered into the University's database, you will receive an e-mail
from the University with the information.
When filling in, use the e-mail part only up to @.

Click on the "Room reservation" link and fill in the required fields.
Please note that the reservation will only be finalised once you
have paid the reservation fee of EUR 100.

When choosing a room, please note that preferences are only

indicative. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences,
but we cannot guarantee a specific room type.

Reservation
fee
The reservation fee depends entirely/partially on the type of
room you choose. It covers the first month's payment for
living in the Student House. The fee is calculated from your
selected arrival date and is non-refundable if you cancel the
room less than two weeks before your scheduled arrival
date chosen during the room reservation process.

If you want the reservation fee to be refunded, please fill out

application form and send it via e-mail to
[email protected] no later than two weeks before
the arrival date chosen in your reservation.

Upon confirmation that the reservation has been canceled,

the reservation fee will be refunded.

The reserved spot is held for 15 business days from the

selected arrival date. If you wish to arrive later, please inform
us; otherwise, the reservation will be canceled and the
reservation fee will not be refunded.

You can choose your desired arrival and departure dates

yourself. Please note that the fall semester ends on January
31st, and the spring semester ends on June 30th.

Upon arrival, please contact the security guard who will

direct you to the Student House Manager. After signing the
accommodation agreement, you will be issued an entry card
to the Student House. Please bring your ID card or passport
with you upon arrival.

The security guard will provide you with the room keys and a
room condition report, which includes the inventory of the
room, the condition of the furniture and walls, any notes, and
recorded damages. Return the completed room inventory
report to the manager.

After making a reservation through the reservation system,

you can arrive 24/7. If you arrive outside of working hours,
the security guard will provide you with the room keys, but
you must visit the manager on the next working day to sign
the accommodation agreement.

What will you find in

the room?
In the room, you will find a bed, a desk, a chair, and a wardrobe. If you wish to
bring your own furniture or refrigerator, you should send an informal request to
[email protected], specifying the items you wish to bring. The items you
bring must not disturb other residents in the room, and the refrigerator must be
clean and in good working condition. There cannot be more than one refrigerator
in the room. The items you bring must be inspected by the administration staff:
the security guard, administrator, or manager.

Our shared kitchen is equipped with a variety

of appliances, so you'll have plenty of options
for cooking fresh and delicious meals. You'll
find a refrigerator, microwave, electric stove,
and oven here.

Don't forget to bring your own pots, utensils,

and other small kitchen tools, as the Student
House does not provide these.
The kitchen and corridors are cleaned daily
from Monday to Friday.

are behind us, so you won’t

Remember, the timers on the washing

machines are not as precise as Swiss

minutes before an exam… or a date.

If the washing machines are occupied, don’t

worry - there are several public laundromats
not far from the Student House.

Change of You can receive a clean set of bedding (sheet,

pillowcase, and duvet cover) twice a month. The
