Subject: Regarding acceptance of authorization forms in respect of All India Postal Employees
Union Group 'C' (AIPEU Gr. C) and further deduction of membership fee through DDO.

This is in continuation to this Office letter of even no. dated 30.04.2024.

With reference to the above noted subject, it is to inform that the petitioner association has filed two cases
before Hon'ble High Court of Calcutta (WP NO. 1285312023 and WP No. 1334/2024).Yide order dated
19.04.2024 in WP No. 1334/2024, Hon'ble High Court has directed that the Deparhnent can process
application made by the employees for deducting contibution, however deduction amount will be subject
to the final outcome of WP No. 12853 of 2023.

In compliance of order dated 19.04.2024 of Hon'ble High Court, Postal Directorate vide letter no. F.No.
the
SR-09/1/2024-SR-DOP dated 12.06.2024has intimated that, the Competent authority has decided that
authorization forms for membership verification submitted by the Association shall be accepted by the
Circles subject to final outcome of WP No. 12853/2023 as well as WP No. 1334 of 2024 and any other
related matters pending in various courts.
