Note. This lecture is a 'required lecture for business majors' and cannot be applied for
out-of-capacity requests (AKA draft paper). Please note that only prospective graduates
majoring in business administration can apply for this course through the College of Business

Course Objectives
This course is an introductory course that aims to provide students with an understanding of
how companies utilize information technology (IT) and information systems (IS) to achieve
corporate objectives in the rapidly changing environment of the information age from the
perspective of corporate management. This course aims to provide students with an
understanding of what an information system is, its impact on business, and its importance. It
also aims to provide students with knowledge of valuable tools to utilize information systems
as a resource for future decision-making through simple exercises.
