PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SUPERSEAL 2800 General Purpose Silicone Sealant is a single component Acetic cure sealant, which is cured by atmospheric moisture to form a
high strength waterproof seal. It is multi-purpose silicone sealant which is flexible and has a powerful anti-fungicide property to prevent
mould/bacteria growth.

SUPERSEAL General Purpose Silicone Sealant is available in Clear, White, Black and Grey. RAL*
COLORS colors are available upon request.

PACKAGING SUPERSEAL General Purpose Silicone Sealant is available in standard caulking cartridges and 200 Liter drum.
The substrate areas that will be in contact with sealant must be clean, dry and free of all loose materials, dust,
SURFACE PREPARATION dirt, rust, oil and other contaminants. Non - porous substrates should be cleaned with a solvent and a clean,
lint - free, cotton cloth. Wipe dry immediately with another such cloth before the solvent evaporates from the
surface
TOOLING AND FINISHING Immediately tool sealant after application and before skin formation. Tooling of sealant should be done in
one continuous stroke. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling is completed.
Uncured sealant may be removed from tools, equipment and non-porous surfaces with solvents. For
CLEANUP AND REMOVAL porous substrates, allow the sealant to cure before removal by peeling or other mechanical means. Cured
sealant can only be removed mechanically.
Not paintable. May not be suitable to join sensitive natural stones such as marble, granite or quartz, as this
may cause staining. Not to be used in contact with sensitive metals such as lead, copper, brass, zinc, carbon
LIMITATIONS steel, galvanized iron or magnesium as corrosion may occur during acetic acid release/sealant cure. Substrate
compatibility test is always recommended.
When stored in original unopened container at or below 77°F (25°C) in dry warehouse
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
conditions, SUPERSEAL General Purpose Silicone Sealant has a shelf life of
12 months from manufacturing date. Containers should always be kept sealed when not in use.
Use in well-ventilated area. Direct contact of uncured sealant irritates eyes and may irritate skin. Over
exposure to vapor may irritate eyes, nose and throat. Do not handle contact lenses with sealant on hands. In
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS case of eye contact, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention. In case of skin contact,
remove from skin and flush with water.
