You will now create the opening for your pouch.

PM in 16th st from hook (this includes the sc you sl st’d into at the end of Rnd
26). Both of your stitch markers should be positioned directly above spike
stitches.

SC

1. 15 sl st, you will work your last sl st into the st with your st marker. Do
not remove your st marker. (16 sl st created including sl st from end of Rnd
26.)

2. Ch30 and remove your hook.

working loop of your chain through.

When you have finished Rnd 31, PM in the 15th st from your ending sl st, this
will be the 16th total st from your hook.

Cut yarn and fasten off.

Pouch Back

You will now seam the wedges together by working through the top loop of your
Pouch Back and the full sc st of your Pouch Front. Please advise the following

Pouch Cord (Optional)


Holding MC double, ch4, tr in 4th ch from hook (loop created), *ch4, tr in loop* rep * *
until the strap measures as long as you like. The example bags feature cords 60 total
loops in length. Cut yarn leaving at least a 6 inch long tail.

Use your ends to seam the strap at either side of the pouch opening on the RS.
Alternatively, if you have the jump rings and bracelet closures from the Optional
Materials list, use these to attach the strap ends as shown and weave in your ends.
