RESTRICTIONS
The Trip organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the trip in case of any unforeseen circumstances, such as
weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other factors beyond their control.
Participants will be notified of any significant changes to the itinerary as & when it occurs

Participants must be in good physical/mental health
It is recommended to consult a medical professional before participating, especially if you have any pre existing

It is the participant's responsibility to inform the us of any pre - existing medical conditions, allergies, or physical
limitations that may affect their ability to participate in the trek
LIABILITY
Participants join the trip at their own risk & KARNATAKA HIKES will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, loss
or damage during the trip

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Participants are expected to strictly respect & preserve the natural environment at the entire trip.
Littering, damaging, malpractice or any illegal activities that harm the ecosystem is strictly prohibited.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Participants are need to respect the ethnicity, culture, environment of the place of visit & fellow trekkers.
Any behaviour that is deemed disrespectful, harmful, or illegal may result in immediate expulsion from the
trek without any refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel within 48 hours before the departure: No refund, no credit voucher & no rescheduling
If you cancel before 48 hours of the departure: 45% cancellation fee on the overall price, not on the
advance amount. (Refund will be initiated within 5 to 7 days). No rescheduling
In case of natural calamities ( snowstorms, thunderstorms, heavy rains floods, landslides,
earthquakes) or unexpected political unrest, curfews, local riots, lockdowns or any prohibition in
the forest entry without prior notice: Karnataka Hikes shall issue a 50% refund of the overall amount,
and remaining 50% shall be given as a voucher which can be redeemed within 12 months. Applicable

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Participants are required to follow the instructions of he Trek Lead at all times to ensure their safety.
Be careful while clicking pictures. Do not risk your life.
Do not get into the sea / water streams / falls without trek leader's permission.
Experienced trek leader will be leading the team. please cooperate regarding the safety instructions.
Please stay with the group. Do not deviate from the path & seperate from the group. If you want to
move from the group inform the trek leader.
During the trek / travel / stay, check your shoes for any kinds of insects or snakes before wearing it.
If you are under 18, you need to send a consent letter signed by your parents.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If there are no minimum number of participants in the batch, then the batch will be cancelled &
amount will be refunded.
This is an adventurous trek. Be ready to face the geographical / weather challenges.
If you want the trekking to be a memorable experience, you need to cooperate with your trek leader
Strictly no drinking & smoking during the entire duration of travel.
We can not promise any hot water facilities & campfire.
Do not create any nuisances on the way by thowing any kind of plastic waste.
The forest entry checkpost does not allow you to carry any plastic. Make your you pack a backpack
without any plastic.
Sometimes due or heavy rain / thunderstorm / or any other reason, the forest department may
restrict the entry to trek. Under such circumstances Karnataka Hikes will not be responsible for that
& we will try to make any other alternate arrangement.
You will be responsible for your belongings
On time arrival to the destination might be delayed due to heavy rains, road damage, road block or
any other unavoidable circumstances.
Do not expect any luxury in the accommodation. Accomodation will be in dormitory / tent. Common
bathrooms will be provided.
Mandatorily sign the declaration form before you start the journey.
Any kind of medical / accidental insurance will not be included. Inform us 24 hours before the
departure if you need an insurance. We will arrange it at additional cost.
Do not expect any luxury facilities during the trek / travel. Trekking is out of comfort zone.
Do not expect the same view as depicted on Instagram & WhatsApp. The views depends on the
weather
